Love Will Last

Billy's POV

I went to the Cullen's and saw Bella leaning against the tree. I knew that something was wrong. She doesn't usually do that unless upset about something. She is a fine combination of Charlie and Renee; tough, out going, and independent, and I have the prefect goddaughter. I walked over there and asked "Why are you sitting here all alone?"

She pulled her a gun and pointed it at me, and looked up and said" Just thinking. How are you doing?"

"I am doing fine Bella, but how are you?" I asked.

"I'm good?"

"Is that a question or a statement?"

"A statement?"

"Ok let me take these papers to Carlisle and I will take you to your favorite place and we will talk" I said and walked away.

"OK" I heard her reply.

I walked up to the door and knocked on the door. Edward opened up the door and showed me up to Carlisle's office. I knocked on his door and entered.
"Hello Billy. Do you have those papers? " Carlisle asked.
"Yes I do" I replied "also I plan on taking Bella out."
"Ok just bring her back safe and sound." Carlisle said.
" Also can you let bella deal with Charlie? And just stand behind her for support and be there to take over when she needs it." Billy asked.
"I will see but she has to come to me first" Carlisle replied.
I walked out of the office and went to Bella.
