The worst mistake

After talking sometime with his brother, harry looked at the time and saw that it was nearly 8:30
He said goodbye to krunal and they both kept the phone down and then harry went to wash his face so that it didn't look like he was crying.
After that he went to the room where they were supposed to sit for dinner. He was worried whether anyone would talk with him or not but to his relief, Bhuvi, jassi and everyone else were talking to him except rohit, virat and mahi bhai.

Jassi realized that harry was very sad with mahi bhai vi and ro's behaviour so he sat with him for sometime after dinner and talked with him and told him that they would soon talk because they also couldn't stay away from him.
After much time had passed, even though jassi didn't say anything but harry realized that he wanted to sleep because jassi would always sleep early, so he said goodbye to him and went to his room. He didn't want to go inside and be ignored by mahi bhai anymore but he knew he didn't have any other room to go to.

As mahi saw harry entering the room, he sighed in relief. He was starting to get worried for him and was thinking to go and find him. "Where were you?" Mahi asked even though he knew he wasn't supposed to talk to him.
Harry was surprised to hear mahi ask him that. 'Does it mean he still cares for me?' he thought.
"I was with jassi" he then answered realizing that mahi bhai was waiting for an answer.
Mahi nodded.

"Let's sleep." He said.
"Are you angry with me?" Harry asked suddenly, still standing there.
"I am sleepy so let's go to sleep" mahi said again avoiding the question. He closed the lights and then went to sleep on the mattress. Harry went on the bed knowing that if he didn't want, then he would never answer and thought it to be best to leave it for now. He would again ask tomorrow morning and would keep asking until he got a reply.

That night harry forgot to take his sleeping pills which he had to everyday after that show. If he didn't take it, he would have nightmares of his family and the ict players leaving him. The only time he didn't need to take them was when krunal was with him.
And as a result, the nightmare again came and Harry started to mumble in his sleep, first low voice which gradually increased about requesting everyone he loved to not go away.

Mahi was not a very deep sleeper, so he woke up due to harry saying something. First he couldn't process what was going on but as he woke up properly and paid more attention he realized that harry was talking in his sleep. He quickly went and opened the lights to see harry shivering and saying "please don't leave me, i am sorry"
Mahi got worried and quickly shook harry to wake him up.

"Harry wake up what happened?" He asked.
After a little more shaking, harry finally opened his eyes and quickly sat up and as soon as he saw mahi looking at him with a worried expression he couldn't help but hug him. Harry thought mahi would push him away but to his relief, mahi also hugged him and without saying anything both of them stayed like that for a minute or two.

After that mahi asked harry who was still holdinh him tight "harry what happened? Were you seeing a bad dream?"
"Yes" harry answered.
"What did you see?" Mahi asked him gently.
"You, virat, rohit, krunal mother, father leaving me." Harry answered in a quiet voice.
"We will never leave you, we are always here" mahi answered.
"But you, virat and rohit are not talking to me." Harry said in a complaining voice.

"It doesn't mean we were leaving you." Mahi said quickly. "We just wanted you to teach a lesson about the consequences of speaking without thinking, but i think you have learnt your lesson. And I am not leaving you, okay? I am always here. We are always here for you. No matter what happens we can never leave you, I can never leave you." Mahi said hugging Harry tighter.

They stayed like that for some time as no one wanted to move. Seeing Harry's state, mahi regretted deciding to not talk with him even for a short time and realized how traumatizing this must have been for him.

"Common Harry let's sleep" mahi said after sometime knowing that they had to wake up early.
Harry nodded and then got up and went towards his suitcase.
"What are you doing?" Mahi asked him as he took out some pills.
"Sleeping pills." Harry answered.
"Sleeping pills? Why?" Mahi asked shocked.
"If I don't take them, i will have nightmares and I won't be able to sleep." Harry said in a low voice.
"So you take them everyday?" Mahi asked, horrified.
"Not when krunal or mother- father are beside me, then i don't need to take them."

Mahi thought for a moment and then said "do you consider me as your brother?"
"As close as krunal." Harry answered.
"So i will stay with you okay? Then you will not need to take medicines, right?"

Harry shook his head.
Mahi went and closed the lights and then stayed with Harry in the bed stroking his hair while Harry had out his head on mahi's lap. Harry soon fell asleep and because mahi bhai was talking to him and was beside him, he didn't even get any nightmares.
