Florence Leeds and Peter Parker where rivals. Ever since Ned had introduced the two of them the summer before middle school where Ned mentioned that Peter had met Tony Stark when he was younger. Their rivalry found it's way into almost every thing they did. From who could score highest one a test, to who could win Neds attention to who could do the most push ups ( Flo hadn't won in a while, since peter miraculously gained strength over night ).
However, nothing is perfect. Flo was slowly becoming a shell of the person she was. Working herself sick, grades and attendence dropping.
Of course, Peter noticed and becomes worried when she starts changing. When she becomes hospitalised after collapsing in school Peter wishes he could help.
