Addison turned and I could imagine all of the color drained from her face. Elle closed the door, walked over to the couch, and plopped down, while Aria just stood there with her brow arched.
"So?" The young girl seemed to want an explanation, one I doubted the two of us could've explained.
"I... uh..." I walked over to the couch where Elle sat to see that she was texting on her phone.
"Hey, Mom," she removed her eyes from the screen, and pressed her lips together, seemingly not bothered by what she had walked in on.
"Finally!" Aria squealed, as she began to jump up and down. I furrowed my brows, and looked at the girl, a gigantic smile on her face.
"It's about time," Elle mumbled, as she poked my side, "you two took forever," she groaned and stood.
"What?" Addison interjected into Aria's prancing and frowned.
"We've been shipping you two for months," Elle explained, as I let out a deep breath.
"So, you two don't have a problem with this?" I asked, not expecting it to be so easy.
"Fuck no!" Aria yelled, making her mother give her a warning look, "sorry," she mumbled, before continuing, "but Aria and I are officially sisters!"
"This is the best thing to happen since sliced bread," Elle said, making me smile. Addison looked at me with a smile of her own on her beautiful face.
"Why are you guys here anyway?" Addison asked, as she walked over to me, and placed her hand in mine.
"I keep track of your location, duh," Aria said. I arched a brow, before Addison explained.
"We both have trackers for each other on our phones, you know, for emergency," Addison said the last part loudly for Aria to hear, intending to emphasize what it was actually meant to be used for.
"When I saw that you're here. I just had to grab Elle, and come see for myself," Aria explained.
"That's invading my privacy, Aria."
Aria rolled her eyes, "yeah, I wasn't too thrilled walking in on you two sucking the life out of each other," I felt a blush creeping onto my cheeks, as Addison gripped my hand firmer, "oh, Chinese," she pondered off, and headed over to the kitchen counter.
Elle also went over, grabbed a pair of chopsticks, and they started eating, as they sat on kitchen stools. I sighed and turned to Addison, making her turn to me, as well. Looking into her eyes, there was hope that everything would work out. Maybe it was eccentric to think that her and I could be something real, but that didn't stop us. We were both women, lawyers, and mothers. What could go wrong?
