Sammi's P.O.V ( Continuation of Chapter 1 ) 

" Justin , I'm scared " I said , looking into his light brown eyes .

" What , why ? " He asked . 

" I'm scared that my mom is going to abandon me and Ethan " I whispered loud enough for him to hear .

" Why do you even think that ? " he asked . 

" because obviously she doesn't give a shit about me or Ethan " I said . 

" that's not true ... your mom is just going through a hard time " He said . 

" I miss my dad " I whispered . 

" I'm sorry I wasn't there for you " He apologized . 

Next thing I knew the door slammed open to reveal a worried Audrina ... 

" You guys are still together ? " she asked . 

" Yes " Justin replied . 

" Really , Sammi ? " She asked , making sure . 

" Yes " I smiled . 

" Uh ... great , let's go out to eat then ? " she asked . 

The reason Audrina acts like that about me and Justin is because she's worried about me being heartbroken like I was before and doing something really stupid like I did a couple of minutes ago ... That reminds me , I should really cover the cuts on my wrist before she see's them and goes all ninja on Justin . 

" Ok I'll be down in a few " I said while they left my room . 

I hurried grabbing some random wrist bands I had bought from Hot Topic and slipped them on .

Audrina's P.O.V 

" Listen up Justin " I said , grabbing Justin's shirt . 

" You better never ever , I repeat never break her heart or cheat on Sammi or I'll fucking go ninja on you " I threatened him .

" Ok I won't , can you let go of my shirt now ? " he asked . 

" Ok but If you cheat or break her heart , you better watch out " I warned him . 

" Alright " He said . 

" Ok , I'm ready guys " Sammi said , walking downstairs . 

" Let's go to Mc Donald's , everybody is waiting for us there " I told them . 

By everybody I mean our friends . Also the reason I'm mean to Justin is because I don't want some jerk to break her heart . I've seen her heartbroken and it was the saddest thing ever . I don't want to lose my best-friend . But I don't hate Justin , I have to admit they do make a cute couple .

Justin's P.O.V 

We were already at Micky D's and we already ordered . 

Anyways , Audrina freaks me out but I do understand that she's only trying to protect her best friend from hurting herself .

It scares me how Sammi cut herself , I never ever want to leave her by herself anymore . It's good to be back in California again .

I felt my blackberry vibrating which probably meant I have a next text message .
