We make it to Chicago just in time for their mom's birthday, and our wedding anniversary is a week after. I leave Elijah in charge of the restaurant while I'm away, and we all end up back in Nashville, so that we all could be together.

Poppy realized that she probably should have reached out to her family, like I'd always encouraged her to. Even though I knew they might have rejected her, it was worth a shot. And it really paid off.

"I might not be the world's greatest mother. But I'm happy to see my daughter so happy and content," Poppy's mother wipes tears from her eyes.

We're all surrounding a table at the restaurant, having a nice dinner. We're closed for the night, so it's just us. And I'm happy to say that I will be a mother in less than eight months. Sometimes miracles do happen. And I'll always be fine, as long as she's with me.
