Within a few days, Rain was already engaged to be married in a matter of weeks. It killed Kathlina to watch the woman who she loved be with another.

If she held a grudge like a man, she'd have banished or killed Rain's fiancèe already. But Kathlina couldn't do that. She couldn't take away Rain's future, especially since they could never be together.

"You're so tense," Qaz whispered, her hands working around the tense muscles of Kathlina's shoulders. The queen felt as though the energy in her was sucked out, and all that was left was her lifeless body. She'd never been apart from Rain for so long, and it was literally taking a toll on her health and well-being.

"I really can ease your tension, My Queen," Qaz dropped to her knees, and delicately placed her hands on Kathlina's knees. She nodded for the servant to proceed, and leaned back, while closing her eyes.

As her legs parted, the airy fabric of her panties were pulled to her knees, and down to her ankles. Qaz discarded of it completely, and admired the queen's perfect lips. She'd never seen the insides of Kathlina's most precious body part, and her eyes waited in suspense, as her fingers parted the moist folds.

"Mhmmm," Kathlina moaned, as the image of Rain's gorgeous face entered her mind. They'd spent many nights giggling as though they were still teenagers, and exploring each other's bodies with not only lust, but a variety of emotions.

Rain made Kathlina feel things that no other woman could. Was the queen really in love? Had she unintentionally given her heart away?

Kathlina couldn't say that it was completely unintentional. It was impossible not to fall for Rain. The woman was one of the most sought out in the Kingdom, and even though Kathlina was the queen, she'd been lucky to have her.

But it wasn't just that beautiful face that caught the queen's attention, it was the kind and loving heart that came with it—the heart that she'd fallen for...

"My Queen?" Kathlina didn't even realize the time that had slipped by, and Qaz's head was buried deep within her the entire time.

Kathlina took a deep breath and guided Qaz to lay beside her, as she brushed the girl's hair away from her eyes.

"I'm sorry, dear. I was lost in thought," Qaz seemed disappointed, but the feel of her tongue was unlike Rain's. It carried no depth to the lovemaking, which made it almost impossible for the queen to cum.

"I'm sorry, I—" Kathlina grew bored of Qaz constantly apologizing. Was she that intimidating?

"You should head to your chambers, I'm going to rest now," the young servant nodded reluctantly, as she slipped off of the bed and gathered her clothing.

"If you need anything, I—"

"I know, you can do whatever you wish for the rest of the night. Goodnight, dear."

When Qaz left, Kathlina grabbed her robe and sat beside the window sill, overlooking the Kingdom in darkness.

She loved her people, and had taken pride in ruling for the greater good of the land. After her parents' death, she promised to keep the peace between the two kingdoms, which was why she married Lance.

Every day since, she'd regretted that decision, but would have done the same thing, given a second chance. The sacrifice was worth it— to see all the people she loved happy.

"You've taken another I see," Lance entered the room, making Kathlina turn to meet his stare. The last thing that she needed was him to spoil her mood further.

"That's none of your business, is it?" He stepped forward, a devious smile on his face.

"I heard that she's gotten engaged. Did you attend the ceremony?" Lance was just rubbing it in at that point.
