Those were my many excuses I've used on Brad. To obviously meet Peter. I know it's not healthy to cheat on your partner but I can't break up with him! He's so kind and nice, It hurts every time I try.

Flashback

"What did you want to talk about Y/n. Also I hope you love your flowers and chocolates I got you. I'm just really happy we can be together." He said joyfully.

"Whoa thank you." I said unenthusiastic.

So I gave up. Even the sex isn't the same. It's just vanilla. I want to be dominated but he treats me like I'm glass.

Ding!

My phone rings faced down onto the coffee table beside me. I grab it and read the message on the screen, 'I miss you❤️'. Peter had changed a lot since the last time we were together. He talks about our future more and how he wants us to rely on each other. Honestly I think it's just bullshit but whatever. Of course i'll give him another chance.

"PETER?! PETER PARKER?! ARE YOU SERIOUS Y/N???" Jessica said extremely surprised.

"Yes...but we haven't slept together!" I stated. Her faces looked at me as if she knew it was a lie. "okay fine. We did but it was only a little. I panicked because I knew it was wrong." I explain.

"Y/n. Brad treats you amazing! I just don't want you to make the wrong decisions. Peter already hurt you once." Jess says.

"Pete keeps me excited." I say passively

"Whatever. I'm team Brad." she finishes.

Ding dong. Ding dong.

Our doorbell rang, "Speaking of him" Jess said smiley.

Weird. Right?
Yet I brush it off

"Hello Bradlee! How may I assist you." she said cheek rising ear to ear.

"Um..where's Y/n? She hasn't been answering my text since last night."

"She's over here." blank

I hear footsteps pace toward the couch I laid among. "Y/n?" He says tugging my shirt as I pretend to be sleep. I make a little mumble noise as if I was still sleepy. "Yo, tell her I stopped by to check on her and text me when she wakes." He said as he waltz back to the door.

"Yeah no probl-!" Jess said excitedly.

"Thanks." He finished slammed the door right after. I toss my head up to peek over the couch and see if he is there. I sigh of relief and crash back down.

Ding

"Let's meet <3 and maybe a little more.."

"Good Morning Ms.L/N!". A coworker greeted me cheery. "Mr. Hyde would like to see you!"

"Thanks Anne" I said walking pass calmly.  I quickly make it to Mr. Hyde's office to speak with me.

"Hello Y/n. How are you?" Hyde said

"Great what's going on?"

"The company has been purchased." What? "Luckily! No is losing there jobs but you."
