CHAPTER 10

Anastasia pov

" You both are here." Claude said. I saw Claude sitting on his throne while looking at us.

"Yes Your Majesty. We met Sir Alpheus outside."

"Mister Whitey!" Athy exclaim.

"Whitey?" Claude ask while raising his right eyebrow.

"because he looked like a whitey doggy. " i told Claude. Athy nod too. Claude paused for a moment, then turn his face to the other side while covering his mouth.

'Eh he laughed! ' i thought while looking at Claude.

"Quite fitting for a man who like a dog won't ever stop barking and being a nuisance." Claude said.

Isn't that a bit harsh for the father of your son-in-law to be?

Claude stare at us and suddenly smirk, confuse The three of us.

" You've quickly become the nanny, i see" Claude said while smirking.

"Hehehe"

'i didn't know that was meant to be a compliment.' i thought while me and Athy deadpan at him. Felix put down Athy, then Athy run toward where Claude sitting but before that she gave  her lollipop that she hold earlier to Felix. I just follow her.

"Now that i think of it,  i believe Sir Alpheus also has a boy the same age as the princesses. Wouldn't he be a good companion for the princesses?" Felix ask Claude. Athy is looking at Claude throne and her eyes sparkling when she see the throne made out of gold. I saw Claude look at us. I quickly smack her hand but not quite hard. She look at me with a frown and soon surprise when she saw Claude was looking at us.

"Is Athy and Sister Anas going to have a new friend?" Athy said quickly with her usually bright smile.

"Just imagining three children running around the palace give me nightmares already. I hate it when it's noisy." 

"On top of that, a boy like Roger Alpheus..." Claude said.

'That's to bad, i was a bit curious about Ijekiel. I think he was two, maybe three years older then Jenette... ' i thought

Hm?

Suddenly, I feel like someone lifted me up, then i heard,

"As i thought, Light." Claude told me.

Then, he lifted up Athy who was probably lost in thought.

" and you, still heavy" He said to Athy. Athy was shock when she heard Claude voice and when he lifted us. She look at me with a shock and confuse face. I just shake my head means that i don't know too.

He put us behind the throne that have curtain that reveal a place where we can rest.

"I've been bothered with a noisy complaints since early today, it has made me tired." Claude told them.

'it's only midday' i thought

I and Athy were noticed that the pillows there are  so soft and the place feel comfy. 

I jump in shock when Claude laid beside me. Athy jump top when she saw Claude.

'This man, he's always so... Immodest! His clothes are always open and he sleeps anywhere! Without any hesitation!' i thought when i saw his bare chest and averting my eyes.

"That time, that song" Claude suddenly spoke.

"song? " Athy and i said with confuse face.

"You called it the song that chases away bad dreams."
