🌺 English translation:
Ramachandra is He. The valiant one amongst Raghu's dynasty.
The one who can bestow all benedictions (wish-fulfilling fruits), like He ensured for 'these people' (ఇందరికి):To Gautama Maharishi's wife (Ahalya) – He is Kamadhenu (the wish fulfilling cow)
To Kaushika who came with a 'killing intent' (Vishwamitra seeks Rama from Dasaratha to destroy demons Maricha & Subahu) – He is Kalpavriksha (the wish-fulfilling tree)
To Seetha – He is Chintamani (a wish-fulfilling jewel or gem)
To his devotees - He is "The God" in this world/life (iha) as well as in the 'higher' world (~a world of moksha or next life - 'para')
To 'పరగ' Sugriva – He is the Supreme Relative (closest, dearest)
To Hanuman who is His equal – He is completely Sovereign
To the diligently devoted virtuous Vibhishana – He is a Treasure to cherish
To His majesty King Janaka (the great one) - He is the sublime, worthy, sacred 'Parijata' (a rare baobab tree whose flowers emit a seductive scent; found only in Indra's garden)
To Sabari's thought – He embodies the philosophical secrets (vast, deep, profound...)
To the pleasing Guha – He is the primordial source (~like Sun)
To the believers – He is verily the idol (~of Rama) in front of your eyes – This Presiding deity of Venkatadri!
🌺 P.S.:
Annamayya uses పాలి or పాలిటి which essentially means – 'pertaining to', or what Rama 'means' to these people or how He is 'perceived' by 'each one of them' – from Annamayya's standpoint!
Annamayya uses the word పరగ here to describe Sugriva. It could very well be పఱగ or పఱిగ whose exact meaning i don't know. Birds and a few animals (including monkeys, apes...) feed on fallen fruits and seeds... The word పరగ could mean one such who feeds on fallen fruits and seeds hence 'lowly'? పరగ could also mean 'righteous' or 'moralist' (because Vali his twin brother was unrighteous and immoral)? పరగ could also mean 'closest'? i am only second guessing here. So if anyone knows the 'exact' meaning of the word, please do share. Will appreciate.
🌺 There was a time when Temples in Andhra Pradesh at break of dawn used to play this Annamayya composition. Here's P. Susheela Garu with Ramachandrudithadu...
