Emotions.

Things that were foreign for the man who always had to fake them.

Things that were snatched away from him before he even remembered having them.

Things that he craved to be able to show when he saw the others smiling and laughing genuinely.

Things he was always envious of others being able to show freely.

Things that he was so lucky to have them back again.

Things that he bought back to him.

If you would have asked the crown prince Alberu Crossman, if he'd ever actually smile genuinely, show his pain to someone and fall in love with anyone,

He'd smile that princely smile at you and walk away.

Yet now,

He'd never stop agreeing.

It even pained his head to think how intense emotions were.

Looking at his love from afar and realising how hard it was to know that you're in love but not get noticed.

It pained his heart to see how they were close, yet they were still so far away.

A friend.

A partner in crime.

A brother.

Someone who understood him.

Someone who knew his true character more than others.

Someone who he trusted his secret to.

Someone who trusted his secret to him.

That's all Alberu Crossman was, to Cale Henituse.

Of course, the crown prince wouldn't mind it, if the redhead wasn't actually so oblivious at his feelings.

But looking at the cold yet warm man, who never ever smiled that true smile that would not have mock flattery or ominousness, he couldn't endure anymore.

He couldn't, with how his eyes drifted to the redhead wherever they were.

He couldn't, when the redhead would overwork himself and fall asleep on his desk, entrusting the remaining paperwork to the blonde.

He couldn't, when the clueless reddish-brown eyes looked at him in a questioning manner when he accidentally got caught staring.

How they'd shine despite being tired out all the way from the past to now.

How they'd have the spark of will, a will of something more than human.

It was something that drives him to survive no matter who died, after all.

He couldn't stop going on and on about how many aspects of the ex-commander that he fell in love with.

Hell, He was scared even. It had only been 2 years since they met. Even less, when they actually started trusting each other.

It was a wonder how he fell so quick and so bad.

Breaking out of his trance, he saw Cale fall asleep on his desk again, all the paperwork scattered around him.

The crown prince would have gladly helped if the ex-commander didn't complete it but knowing Cale, it was already done.

The man was as responsible as ever. Even when he'd faint from overworking himself.

The disguised dark elf couldn't help but stare the rare occasion of the redhead not having his stoic face.

How ethereal he looked.

Oh how he could keep looking at the man all day and night.

He quickly got up and went outside, before he would do something not quite befitting of what a sworn brother would do.

"Your highness, you sure you won't be hitting yourself on the back at this stupid request?" Choi Han smiled in a very fake manner.

The crown prince groaned at the question.

"Why do you think I'd do this if your leige wasn't so dense?"

Choi Han paused for a bit and nodded.

"That's quite true too."

"Either way, you're helping me, teacher-nim."

Choi Han's expression didn't change as he ignored the fake blonde.
