"Here, kid." Girlfriend hands Skid a game case. He reads the cover carefully. "...hating simulator?" He looks up at Girlfriend. "This is a dating game, Girlfriend." She stared at him for a second before smiling.

"Indeed. I just want you to see if it works." Girlfriend pats the teen's head before leaving. Before he could open his mouth to debate, she disappears. He looks around, then back down at the game.

"Well..." His eyes stared at the boy on the cover. "No turning back now." He turns around and walks away from the Dearest' home. As he leaves, Girlfriend stares at him from the distance, small red stars glowing in her eyes.
-Time skip...-
Skid stares at the doorknob. He sighs and pulls it open. He walks into his home and shuts the door behind him, until he notices a note on the coffee table. Curious, he walks over to it and picks it up.

'Gone for the night. love mom.' He inspects the note and puts the note away. He takes off his shoes and sweater, putting them away. After doing so, he ponders to himself. "...Do I have the right console for this?"

Skid stares at the game one last time before shaking the thought off and running upstairs. He runs into his room and looks in his closet. Luckily, he finds the exact console needed for his game.
