Evans POV
I looked at how the light shined on her face. She pushed her weight off the passenger seat. Her body emerged from the seat to the sunroof. She had half her torso out of the car. Her giggles covered by the wind rushing off the car. We had just reached a tunnel, her blonde hair flying through the wind behind her. You could hear her yelling into the air. Muffled victory screams echoed above the car. "Faster!" She pushed on.
Justices POV
The fluorescent light hit my face. I closed my eyes, taking in the moment. I felt completely and utterly free. I felt the car accelerate, I looked up at the tunnel. It was littered with graffiti, I never understood why graffiti was frowned upon. It was art to me, just like Picasso or any other big shot artist. I sank back down into the car, I felt a hand wrap around my shoulder. A sudden rush of comfort, I felt safe. I found it amazing how Evan could make me feel incredibly wild but safe at the same time.
Evans POV
Her head rested on my shoulder as I continued driving down the city streets. The street lights glimmered off the white snow. I've never felt this way about a girl, going through high school I was always the outcast, the one who never fit in. Justice, she just made me feel like I could do anything, say anything, be anything. I felt her soft hand on mine, she interlocked her fingers on my free hand. My other hand rested on the steering wheel. "Where do you wanna go?" I questioned slightly taking my eyes of the road.
She turned over and slightly smiled. "Anywhere but this retched town." She giggled looking out her window at the night sky. I thought about what she had said, thinking of places I could take her. Then the thought popped into my head. I'm gonna show her what I've never showed anyone before.
