Justices POV

Our adventurous ride had concluded when Evan put the car in park and looked over at me. He got out of the car, soon coming to my side and opening the door for me. "Close your eyes." He said putting his hands over my eyes. His hands smelled like cologne and felt so very soft. I felt like he was an angel leading me to heaven. He walked me a few steps forward, "Open." He requested uncovering his hands from my eyes revealing the view.

I was breathless as I looked out over the city. All the large buildings and city lights illuminated the dark lookout. "Where are we?"I questioned looking at our surroundings. "This is where I come to get away from it all." He started climbing on the hood of his car. Without question, I followed his movement. We looked out over the city, admiring the fact that we were both finally outside the town limits. I looked down and goosebumps littered my body. The brisk wind hit my back giving me chills. I felt a weight rest on my shoulders, it was Evans arm wrapping his jacket around the two of us. He pulled me in closer, and we both just relaxed.

"What was it you came here to get away from?" I asked. A moment of silence passed. "I hate everything about myself." He replied. "When I come here..." He continued, "It's kind of like an escape from myself." He finished speaking and tears welled up in his eyes. He pushed them back and we resumed talking. "Last summer my parents got divorced, it was absolutely brutal." They were always so happy together. For most of my life I've had one dream.." I stuttered. He nodded for me to go on. "I've always wanted to be happy. To be truly, genuinely happy. I've been faking happiness since I was just a little girl, it's so sad to think that at 10 years old I had already hated everything about my self. The only thing that has made me genuinely happy.. is you.." I finished leaving him speechless. A few moments passed and he just looked at me with sorrow in his eyes. "It doesnt make sense how someone so perfect can be so.. sad." He said. He smiled, and I returned with "I'm not perfect." He placed his two fingers under my chin and lifted my head up to meet his. "You're perfect, Justice" he continued placing his lips on mine. He places small kisses on my nose and forehead before pulling me in tighter and cuddling his body against mine. I couldn't ask for a better way to end my night.

-MORNING-

I woke up still on the hood of Evans car, his body entangled with mine. He woke up with a happy look on his face. He touched my cheek with a bit of question. "What?" I asked giggling. His smile brightened . "I had to make sure it wasn't a dream." He smiled
