a lot has happened in the past two days.
my bestfriend isn't answering me,
I got fired,
and more things
and I don't have enough money
and no job. great.

Time skip 4:32pm

Juliet's pov
I'm hungry but I can't cook, hopefully I have something in the fridge. goddammit it's literally
empty. are you fucking kidding me.

Ding
who could that be. I get my phone from the table.
"Finally" I say as I see a text from my bestfriend.
I decided to call her, I'm to lazy to text.
As I'm walking to the couch nessa answers.

"Dude where have you been" I say
"Wow no hello no I've missed you" she says.
" um no, where have you been"
"Im sorry, I was busy with making a new song"
"omg really that's amazing ness. How's it going so far?" I ask
"It's good, we'll there's gonna be a premiere and I really want to come"
"Um in LA?" I ask
"ofc where else?"
Fuck how am I gonna tell her
"Why are you asking?" She asks
"just asking"
"Juliet, what's going on? your voice changed"
"It's just that I lost my job two days ago and I can't afford anything right now" I laugh. I was about to cry.
"why didn't you tell me"
"I don't know" I answered
"Well I can send you money or something"
"no no no, no way I'm letting you do that"
"But I want to to come to my premier"
"It's fine, I'll figure something out"
"Juliet please, you couldn't make it to my birthday a few months ago, you said you were gonna give me a present when you come here"
"I know I know, it's just been really hard with Covid, I will get you a present soon. i promise"
"well you coming here would be the best present"
"Nessa, I can't afford it right now"
"Let me send you money"
It's gonna make me look bad if I say yes, but I've missed everything, and I miss my bestfriend.
"Ok" i say, fuck what is she gonna think of me now.
"Ahhhh, yesss I'll see you soon"
"Nessa wait"
"What" she says a little bit worried.
"When's the premier"
"Girl I almost had a heart attack, well don't worry about that come here as soon as you get the money sent to you. I suggest you pack today. Bye love you"
"Love yo-"
She hangs up.

Time skip 3:09am

Juliet's pov
am I a bad person for accepting the money? What is she gonna think of me? My parents are gonna be disappointed if they find out I'm fired. I mean they were always disappointed.

I was lying on my bed staring at the ceiling. I couldn't sleep. I've done everything. Cleaning, making tea, literally anything that could make me tired. Nothing. Anyways i packed. My heart is beating fast. Ahhhhhhh.

Time skip - few days later - 7:12am

Juliet's pov
I got the money. 1000 dollars. damn. how am I gonna pay her back. Nessa I hate you. But I love you at the same time. I guess I'm going to LA today.
