Marinette was sobbing as she ran home from school. Her friends believed a liar over her. * I was there through all of their times, but they let me down!* She thought still crying. The rain was pouring down hard and she didn't hear Adrien running after her calling her name.
"MARINETTE!!!!" He screamed. And this time she turned around.
"LEAVE ME ALONE! I CAN'T TRUST ANYONE ANYMORE"
"Mari, please.....I don't think of you that way," he smiled, but Marinette glared at him.
"Then why didn't you stand up for me? Why did you let me down?" Adrien felt tears running down his face.
"I-I'm sorry. I was afraid of losing my friends." Marinette felt her eyes soften as she looked at him.
"I-, but you do believe me? Right?" She asked looking at him.
"Yes! You would never do tha-oof!" Adrien let out of grunt as Marinette hugged him tight. He hugged her back, and realized she stopped crying. He pulled away about to ask if she was alright, but he stopped. He didn't have to ask what she was going to do.
"Are you leaving?" She nodded.
"I'm sorry," she said looking at him. "But I can't stay where I'm not wanted and untrustworthy."
"But where are you going to go?" Marinette looked away.
"To LA," she sighed. "I can live with my cousin and her boyfriend. I already texted her while we were at school."
"But what about your parents?"
"I texted them to, and they were sad, but they understood. Besides, they still have my brother. My mom said she'd start packing my stuff." Adrien turned away from Marinette. "But," she said. "Can you come with me to pick some things up from the store?"
"Sure, Mari" Marinette smiled at Adrien. They walked to the store and Marinette went and grabbed two boxes of hair dye. One brown, and one blue. Without her noticing, Adrien snuck a box of dark brown hair dye. After they left the store, Adrien walked Marinette to her house. When they were there he asked, "When are you leaving?"
"I think my mom booked my flight for Friday, after school."
"But it's Tuesday today, so you're leaving in three days." She nodded.
"Uh-huh...." Marinette hugged him again saying, "I'm going to miss you so much."
"Me too, come back to visit."
"I can also video chat you as well."
"True."
"Well, see you later!" Marinette said as she walked into the house.
"Bye Mari......," Adrien said as he watched her walk into her house, leaving him alone.
