Lie-La's Lies Revealed

The next few days were a blur for Mari, going to school and avoiding everybody, except Adrien, and then coming home and packing. She had dyed her hair brown with a couple streaks on Thursday afternoon. But now it was Friday, and her and her parents were driving to the airport.

"Are you going to miss your friends?" her mom asked. Marinette scoffed.

"Why would I? Besides, they're not my friends."

"What about Adrien?"

"Well....I'll visit," Marinette sighed. She looked at the charm in her hand. "I just can't be here anymore." Tom nodded, looking sad. All of a sudden, Marinette remembered something. Ladybug. What was she going to do about her superhero identity? Marinette shook her head and asked, "Hey, Mom? Can I get out of the car for a sec?" Her mom agreed, and she got out of the car. 

"Tikki...."

"Marinette, it's ok. I guess, if you're leaving, then I guess there's nothing else you can do." Marinette nodded.

"Tikki, spot's on!"  

"M-m-mari?" A voice said behind her. Marinette turned around to see her OLD friends. 

"Oh, hey. Didn't realize my former friends were behind me."

"Y-you're Ladybug?" Alya asked astonished, then turning to Lila she asked, "Weren't you just saying that you were Ladybug?"

"I-I-I....Marinette stole my miraculous!!!" Lila tried, but this time they didn't believe her.

"Yeah right Lila, we know that Marinette was bulling you, but she would never steal a miraculous," Rose said. Marinette scoffed, and looked pointedly at Adrien who looked as mad as heck. 

"Marinette didn't bully Lila!" He said all of a sudden. Everyone turned to look at him. "Lila was lying, besides, do you really think that Mari would do that?"

"A-A-Adrien?" Lila said. "Why would you say that? I would never lie about that."

"Oh shut up, Lie-La!" Adrien slapped her, and went to go stand by Marinette. "Plagg, claws out!" Everyone couldn't stop staring, including Marinette. 

"Ugh, fine," Lila said, stepping forward. "Maybe I exaggerated but I didn't lie."

Marinette rolled her eyes. She de-transformed, and walked over to Lila.

"Here, I think you need this," and with that, Marinette slapped Lila. She looked at Adrien. "You coming?" He nodded and they walked back to the car.

"Marinette! I-" Alya started.

"No. Save it for someone who wants to hear it." and with that they drove off.
