The Room of Spirit and Time

We walked out into a large room.  Actually, large was an under-statement.  Years ago, Goku and I had used the room, and it was massive when we were kids, but now that I'm here again... I literally can't see the end.  I also remember that he almost got lost after wandering too far away from the building.  We'll have to be careful of that.

Amy: This place is... unnerving.

Leek: Yeah.  Well, we should get started.  Thanks Mr. Popo.

He closed the door behind us, and the clock over the door stopped.

Leek: Alright, so we covered a lot of Ki sensing and blasts, flying, and strength stuff over the last year.  But we didn't really focus on any actual fighting stuff.  So we're gonna spend most of this year sparring.  But first, we'll use today as a resting day.  We also need to get used to the atmosphere which should change-

I had the wind knocked out of me, and Amy fell to her knees.  Everything felt heavier, and it was slightly harder to breath.

Leek: R-right about n-now.  The atmosphere... in here is about... two times heavier than outside.  And there's less oxygen...

I slowly caught my breath, and helped Amy up.

Leek: Sorry, I should have warned you.  I forgot that happened.

Amy: It's f-fine.

I could tell she was still adjusting to the environment, I helped her to a room, and she said she was gonna rest for a bit.  I told her I was gonna go take a nap in my room.

 - Timeskip - 

Ugh... finally, I need to lay down.

I made it to my room, changed into pajamas, and laid down on the bed.  I closed my eyes, but then I heard my door open.  I looked up, and saw Amy.

Amy: D-do you mind... if I sleep with you?

I was a bit surprised by the question, but I gave a small smile and rolled over on the bed.  She gave a wide grin, and jumped in the bed next to me.  She wrapped her tail around me, pulling me closer to her, and snuggled into my shoulder, quickly falling asleep.  I kissed her on the forehead, put my arm around her, dozing off soon after... not realizing that she was smiling, as she was still awake for what just happened.

- Timeskip: 11 Months - 

Amy: HAH!

I was kicked in the gut, but I quickly got back up, and charged up my Wild Cannon.

Leek: Wairudo... KYANON!

I fired the beam at Amy, who sidestepped it and fired her Photon Beam back.  I wasn't expecting it, and took the full force of the hit.  I landed on the ground, and opened my eyes.  Amy was there, holding her hand out and giggling.

I took her hand, and she helped me up.  Then, I heard a voice calling out.

Goku: Leek?  You in here?

I jumped in surprise, and ran towards the door.  I reached it, and Goku was standing in the doorway.  I walked over and hugged him.

Goku: Hey bro!  Wow, you got stronger!

Leek: You're back already?  Where are the Saiyans?

Goku: That's why I came in.  They were early.  Yamcha, Tien, and Chiaotzu... they were killed, but Piccolo, Krillin, and Gohan are still fighting.  We've gotta go, now!

Leek: Yamcha, Chiaotzu... even Tien?  Shit...  Amy, let's go.

She nodded.  Goku held out his hand.

Goku: I'm Son Goku!  Nice to meetcha!

Amy smiled and shook his hand.

Amy: I'm 21.  It's a pleasure.

We all flew off towards the battle zone.
