Only Friends

Dinner

Y/N got home and freaked out. She whipped out her phone and started texting Sarah.

Y/N : " Uhh excuse me Paulson? You weren't planning on telling me that you were on the track to kill me tonight? "

Sarah : " What? I have no idea what you are talking about :) "

Y/N : " Don't you fucking play innocent with me Paulson, I know what you are up to. "

Sarah : " I am nothing but a sweet baby angel, I have done nothing wrong. "

Y/N : " No Sarah, you are a demon. Why'd you invite her, what's your plan?"

Sarah : " Well as you know, Cate divorced a few years ago, and I ( AS A GOOD FRIEND, MIND YOU) am trying to bring her back to the dating game. And I haven't caught up with her for a real long time."

Y/N : " Wait, so let me get this right. You are trying to SET US UP? Are you out of your Paulson mind? I'm going to get such sweet sweet revenge girl. Believe me. "

Sarah : " I'd like to see you try. Don't act all innocent yourself. I know you like her. C'mon one dinner won't kill you. Plus you're co-stars, you have to get to know each other. See ya in a few hours Y/N."

Y/N : " Yeah, whatevs. Bye."

Y/N got herself dressed. She looked in the mirror and sighed. Nothing seemed to feel right. Finally she put on a good pair of pants and a good top. She felt confident in herself and went to her bathroom. She did her usual routine and ordered a cab.

When she got out of her hotel room, and went downstairs, she found a few fans standing in the lobby. She took pictures with them and gave the autographs. She decided to not stay around for too long and got into her cab.  She decided to check the news, to cure her boredom. She almost screamed when she found out, that somebody had leaked the upcoming movie. She checked Twitter in an instant and saw that all the Cate fan accounts were going crazy already. Y/N fan accounts already started a new ship, including Y/N and Cate. 

Y/N wanted to laugh, because this was all so ironic. The internet was shipping her with Cate Blanchett. Now the Cate accounts started to ship too. It was a Twitter moment. 

The cab had arrived and Y/N didn't even notice. The driver had to cough for her to realize that she had arrived and Sarah's. She thanked the driver and got out. She was in the middle of the road and still on her phone, reading all the thoughts. Everybody was so excited and hoping that Cate will be in a relationship with a woman in the movie. Luckly no details about the movie leaked, but the cast and name did. " Fooling Hope " was the name of the movie.

Y/N went up to Sarah's door. She started to knock, but the door was pulled open, before she could. It was Holland, who had a huge smile plastered on her face. They hugged and greeted each other. Y/N gave the bottle of wine she had brought. She went into the dining room, where everything was already set up. The whole place smelled great. Sarah was in the kitchen, cooking. Y/N peaked her head in and greeted her. 

Sarah : " Oh hey, long time no see. Cate is supposed to arrive any minute now. Get ready."

Y/N : " I'm still in disbelief that you did that Paulson, that was a good- but dirty move you made. Well played my friend, well played."

Sarah just laughed it off and went back to her pots and pans. Y/N took a seat at the dinner table. Holland came up to her and the talked for a bit. 

Then they heard a knock on the door, Holland left the room to get it. Y/N's heart started to beat faster again, as she heard the deep Australian voice in the distance. The woman came into the room and greeted Y/N. They shook hands, and Cate put her other hand too. She wouldn't let go, and the atmosphere got a little bit awkward.
