"time to get uppppp" my lovely brother screamed into my ear sometimes I wonder how we are related we are total opposites.
"I'm up calm down Max"
"Well time to start getting ready for the first day of school and you have your first field hockey practice today as captain right?"
"Yes I do i'm really excited!"
As I start getting ready I realize i'm a junior in high school how is that possible? I remember just turning 7 years old with my best friend by my side and how he just left without saying goodbye. Even though I was really young I still felt really upset. I sometimes always wonder where he went or how he's doing. Does he ever think about me? Does he even remember me?
As i'm walking down the stairs i'm greeted by my brothers best friend Michael and my brother himself.
"Hey Michael"
"Hey Sarah"
"Ya'll ready to go"
I have always had a slight crush on Michael I always had a feeling he liked me back too. I sometimes find it hard to trust boys I feel like if I let them in there just going to leave me like Tyler did. Even though that was 10 years ago I just can't let him go.
"Okay sis have a good first day"
"You guys too" I say as I head off to see my best friend Elizebeth. I met her when we were 10 and ever since then we have been inseparable ever since. She helped me get over Tyler leaving and she helped me when people used to pick on me.
In Middle school I had a hard time many people used to make fun of me for reasons I don't really know and this made me change myself. Sometimes I wonder if I changed myself for them or for me. Once I hit high school I changed my hairstyle, starting playing field hockey, and became more popular.
"Hey Sarah"
"Hey Elizabeth"
"Are you ready for our first field hockey practice today as captains?"
"Yes I am"
"Hey guys"
"Hey Max" "Hey Michael"
Ever since Tyler left I never really went on dates I liked him so much. Even though I was only 7 I just knew he was the one for me when he left I was heartbroken no goodbye or letters written back. I stopped writing letters once I realized he would never write back to me.
Michael was the first boy I liked after Tyler he was very sweet he's my brothers best friend. Us four are the core four we've been hanging out since we were baby's.
"Are you guys gonna come and watch us practice after school today?"
"Sure"
"when do winter sports tryouts start?" my brother does ice hockey and Michael does basketball there seniors while we are juniors.
"They start in November"

"Sure Michael" as we walk away Elizebeth raises her eyebrows while Max is glaring at Michael

" I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date with me?"
I can't believed he asked me this I like him but my mind just goes right back to Tyler. I need to move on this was 10 years ago if I go out with him I'll forget all about Tyler
"Sure I would love too"
"Okay great I'll Pick you up at 8 on Friday"
"Okay great see you after school"

"Okay guys take a lap and warm up"
As were running I can't help but think of Tyler he's always in my mind and I hate it. Why why why why do I always have to think of him when I have Michael he's really nice sure sometimes he has his bad moments but don't we all?
"Okay guys were gonna do shooting drills line up"
~End of practice~
"hey guys"
"Hey sis that was a good practice those college scouts are going to love watching you"
"Thanks bye guys see you later" as me and Max our walking to his car I have this odd feeling that someone is watching us. As I'm looking around Tyler notices
"Hey are you okay?"
"Yeah I just had a weird feeling that someone is watching us"
"Well lets just get in the car and go home"
While were in the car I got a text from a random number
