A/N: OML it has been a long time since I wrote a snipet, writers block really got to me. Apologiesss!! I wonder if I've improved??

The atmosphere in the coliseum was bursting with excitement, thousands of viewers chatting and peering down at the ring. They chatter and bet on which warrior was going to win, as if the warriors weren't even human.

Above all of this sat a woman. Draped in beautiful silks and garments, her aura radiating elegance. Jewels adorned every limb- pearls, diamonds, and garnets. When the sun shone on her she sparkles like a star. That woman was the crown princess. From the very top of the coliseum, it was like she was a goddess.

Crown Princess's POV:

   Soni was never a fan of the coliseum. The ear-grating  laughter and sneers of nobles slid from one ear out the other. Their faces disgusted her. The way they betted on the warriors' lives like they were subhuman made her gut churn. She had seen how they were treated. The strongest warriors got enough food to keep functioning and rake in money while the weaker ones were left to fend for themselves. She would never forget their expressions, full of desperation to live and make it out of the coliseum.

Of course they never did. Those who tried to escape were so harshly reprimanded they were unable to move or croak a single word. The first time she had witnessed it she puked. When she was empress, she swore to tear this place down.

???'s POV:

   They could hear cries of nobles and citizens boomed outside of the hall. Scars marked every inch of their skin, some deeper than others. Greasy locks of hair clung to their skin, clumped together like thick rope. Their chains clinked with every step, closer and closer to the doors. If they caught someone's attention this time, maybe, just maybe they could make it out of the accursed ring. It didn't matter who, they just needed someone to notice them, save them.
