(A/N: How tf does wattpad work, like actually. I pressed publish for the last chapter and it made my story a completed story. b!tch no I aint done yet😤 ANYWAYS ILL FIGURE THAT OUT, but for now i want to know why I dont even attend grade school anymore yet I forget to make a new paragraph when people talk🧍 normaly I would post all of the characters and how they would act but how tf am i supposed to make jinx comforting you, like whats she gonna do make you a bomb? that was a joke i love jinx. also idk how to work wattpad so my story might say its complete when its not. there will ATLEAST be 10 parts at the minimum im planning to do over a hundred)
Ekko: Four months ago you, Ekko and your best friend went on a mission for a surprise attack on the shimmer workers in order to shut down the shimmer factories. During the attack you were wounded very badly as well as your best friend. Ekko was able to drag you to out and bring you both back to the firelight hideout. you had to be put into immediate surgery and you had blacked out for two days. during those two days you were out, your friend had sadly passed. When you did wake up you were absolutely devastated, anyone would be if they lost their friend. Ekko felt horrible seeing you in such a sad state. He knows what it can be like to loose a friend, hes just glad your safe. the first month of your healing process you appeared to be miserable, you were in pain inside and out. the second month of your healing process you seemed fine as far as your friends death goes. every firelight thought you were back to your happy old self, except one. Ekko obviously knew something was up with you. Every time he was around you put on a fake smile. And when he left the room he could hear you cry and slowly mutter your friends name. Ekko had decided that he wanted to confront you about it. he couldn't take another second of you putting on a fake smile just to make others feel safe, he knows when someones hurting they have to be true to their feelings. "hey..." he smiles with a soft tone. he softly closes the door behind him and goes to sit down at the chair next to the medical bed you happened to be resting in. "Hello dear" you say giving a soft smile continuing to read the book you had. "con we talk...?" he mutters, giving you puppy dog eyes. "of course my love, is something wrong?" you ask him. "Im alright, I actually wanted to see if your okay" he leans back on his chair. "well i was impaled" you chuckle."but overall im fine my healing process should be over in a few weeks" you say finally setting down your book. "How are you feeling about your friend?" he stares at you looking for any sign of sadness. "I miss her everyday, but the past is the past we must look towards the future, that being said Im doing great my love" you say flashing the mad a sweet smile. that smile. The smile that Ekko could see through. He knew you weren't okay and he knew you felt horrible, he just wonder why you won't admit it. "Would you lie to me?" he ask with the softest tone almost like if he spoke any louder you would shatter. he knew at times like these he had to be gentle. he puts him hand on yours. "I would never..." you say frowning. "do you not trust me?" he says almost looking like he's the one about to cry. "I do! I trust you with my life Ekko!" you shout this time getting more concerned as to what point hes trying to get to. "then why do you hide? everyone else may not be able to see it but I can y/n! Your in pain its it clear to see. you try to hide it from me too, why? why do you need to hide your pain? im the one who's supposed to be there for you, and make you feel better!" Ekko says standing up from his previous spot at the chair. At this point your in tears, not because your scared of him, but because what hes saying is true. "I- I just want to be strong like you ok... when someone dies you never cry or- or anything like that!" you weep. Ekkos face immediately softens. "ill just drag everyone down with my bad attitude..." you sob again. "y/n... everyone understands, there is no reason you should feel that, we all understand" Ekko breaths. seeing you cry was like daggers to his heart. he was new to this whole 'comforting' thing, he didn't know what to say. he wanted to scoop you up and hug you with all his heart but due to your injuries he couldn't. instead he grabbed your hand. you tried to push him away and cover your face. you would never want him to see you like this, weak and pathetic. suddenly you see a gray flash. it was Ekko. He landed a passionate kiss on your lips. he tried his hardest to hover over you on the medical bed. He kisses you all the time but this one was different, like he understood what you had been feeling. in that second your worried washed away and you leaned into the kiss. He pulls away and avoids your eye contact. "I don't know how to make you feel better.... But I don't want to see you in so much pain" he spoke. now he looked into your eyes not breaking the contact. "It hurts me to see you like this my love" he whispers. "I- I think i'm better now" you smile. "all I need is you, always forever. loosing my best friend did hurt but it hurts more to fake how i feel and put on a mask in front of everyone..." you spoke. "I just want you to be happy y/n.." he kisses you once more.
