matt's pov:

I was laying on chris' bed scrolling on my phone when nick walked in with a massive smile on his face.

"why are you smiling like that?" chris blurts staring at nick weirdly

"oh nothing...I just met our new best friend!" nick squeals

"what do you mean, who?" I ask now somewhat interested in who our "new best friend" is

"well! there's this new girl who just moved across the street from us, she's in our grade and she's going to our school.  I haven't really got to know her yet but she seems cool and her names hannah, I also got her number" nick rants excitedly

"you got her number?" chris asks in disbelief

"yeah, she seemed cool and I thought she could hang out with us tonight"

"bro you can't just ask random people for their numbers after knowing them for five seconds" I add

"ugh whatever, she's hanging with us tonight. I'm texting her" he says as he flops onto the bed

"she said yes!" nick shouts happily

me and chris look over at each other and laugh

"oh shut up" nick gets up and walks out of the bedroom

4:45pm

hannah's pov:
15 minutes until they were picking me up, I threw on some colourful patterned flares, a oversized nirvana t-shirt and my dirty high top converse. I decided to leave my hair in the messy plaits and my curly curtain bangs wild. I headed downstairs to wait for them on the couch, I was alone because my mums at work. 10 minutes passed and nick knocked on my door.

"ello luv" he said in a horrible british accent

"ello" I laughed

"so just to warn you" he started as we walked across the road towards his house "my brothers are a bit chaotic, also their names are chris and matt"

"okay I'll keep that in mind" I laughed loudly

matt's pov:
I heard a girl laugh loudly on the other side of the front door, me and chris were currently standing in the kitchen talking with each other. I don't know why but I feel kinda nervous. nick finally walks in with the girl behind him.

"hey guys! this is hannah, hannah this is chris and matt" nick introduced

"hi! I'm hannah" she nervously laughs

woah, she has the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen.

hannah's pov:
woah, he looks exactly the same as his brothers but he also looks extremely different, he has brown fluffy hair, lightly pink tinted cheeks, he's tall. and has the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen.

matt's pov:
I snap myself out of my trance and wave a little

"hi, I'm matt" I just pray I don't sound stupid

"hey, I'm chris" he salutes her and she laughs

"alright now that we're all familiar let's ride!"

hannah and nick sit in the back and chris in the passenger seat, he immediately turns on a lemonade mouth playlist and we all start singing together, I look in my rear view mirror and see hannah and nick singing to each other dramatically, I smile and turn back to the road.

we got to the MacDonalds drive thru and ordered a bunch of food and then pulled up to the parking lot.

"so hannah where are you from?" chris asked

"Oakville Canada" she smiles

"ohh cool! so why'd you guys move here?" nick asked

"my mum got a big promotion" she said still with a big smile on her face

"I hope we have classes together!" nick exclaims

"oh same, I don't think I can bare a class with no friends" she agrees

"what's your favourite subject?" I ask her

"better not be math" chris states

she laughed and answered "no, no I hate math, my favourite would have to be english!"

"weirdo" nick laughs

"oh and what's yours?" she snaps back sassily

"well missy, it's actually none."

we all start laughing and I couldn't help but think nick actually might be right about this new best friend thing.
