Chapter 3

Lilly's POV

So yah I just had to get on the ground and carried by Harry. When I regained consciousness I realized I got a broken wrist and sprained ankle on my birthday. YAY me. I woke up to Harry holding my hand while asleep. I decided to do a prank. 

"HARRY HARRY WAKE UP!" I yelled before closing my eyes and pretending to be asleep when he came around.

"What the heck? Who yelled?" he stops and stares at me. Here we go. "Staring isn't nice Harry! Geez I thought you would learn some manners!" I say all this while pouting and he just stares at me, speechless.

A eagle owl then came to the window. 'What the heck?' I thought in my head but I told Harry to open it.

It comes in with two envelopes tied on its feet. One was addressed to me, the other was for Harry.

"Thank you kind owl." I say fake bowing to the , what has to be, a smart owl.

The owl flew away , not even hooting a good-bye or thanks.

"Hmmf! You would think being a smart owl it would at least say ' thank you '." I tell Harry. He is just staring at the envelopes. " Harry you stare to much. You really need to work on that." He does nothing but stare. Then in a flash he is there, opening the envelopes like there is a million bucks in it. He threw me mine then took his and read aloud.

"Hello. You have been invited to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizarding. I am Professor McGonagall. Teacher of Tranfiguration. You will be first years this year and we shall hope to see you when you are in your seventh year. The teachers are: Professors' Binns, Snape,, Quirrell , Flitwick, Sprout, Twelawney, and Slughorn. A few of these you actually will not be in the class for a bit. The headmaster is Albus Dumbledore. The caretaker is Argus Filch. There are four houses. Slytherin , Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw.

Your list of books and items are:

Grade 1; Tranfiguration, Potions , Defense of Dark arts , Charms.

History of magic Book 1 Grade 1.

Herbology: The wonders of the plants.

You will get your schedule the second day you come. Please also remember to get :

a pet ( owl, cat, toad, etc)

quills

robes

all the potions for first years (ask the shop owner

and a cauldron.

" Wow. That's a lot." He said after he read it. "No kidding! Were are we going to get the money for this? Your uncle and aunt aren't gonna pay." I say feeling nervous. My dad won't pay either. " We are going to have to worry about that later. For now lets just think about the fact that we are magic." He says, I think he is nervous also.
