It's an autobiography involved with some drama, exaggerations, and hypocrisy. The book basically tells how the story "My Lost Dollar" led me to find My Todd. Each chapter basically represents an anecdote involving this man in the cover picture.

It was my first semester in college and I was a sincere, hardworking, innocent, introverted, etc. girl. I made very few friends. Why? I was not good at making friends at first. Todd was one of them. It was the practical lab class where being an engineer, one needs to learn how to make ridges and grooves on the metal cylinder. Todd made the best grooves (He is a topper). Being human, I did the error. I asked Todd for a party since he was being punished for laughing at me as the instructor scolded me for not keeping tolerance values. Hence solves the mystery of the name, "Tolerance Party". It was a small treat where he need to purchase me a coffee. It was simple. The party could be over just by spending Rs. 10. But NO!
We reached Nescafe for the coffee and snacks. He forget his wallet in the room and acted lazy to get back from the place 10 min away. He said to give it later. An interesting fact he told me all about this when we already ordered and even started eating. I also didn't have the money and was lazier than him. We sat there for half an hour just waiting for someone to arrive. At last, one of the friends came to get a chocolate. I didn't know him much but I asked him for the money with the confidence as if he is my bodyguard. He even lent us the extra. I quickly handed the money to Todd and immediately shifted the responsibility to him that he will pay the debt. That friend said ok and left. Todd and I stared for a few seconds and I smirked. Maybe he realized that this is the start of a long game. I legit spent twenty minutes more about my greatness and jugaad of arranging money. I even said him that I am not gonna leave him until he completes his word about Tolerance Party.

Finally, did he give it? No. I even recited the story about Lost Dollar by Stephen, even warned him to write a book about this. Did he still give the party? No. And here I am writing the book after 2 years of waiting for that party. He gave all other parties like his birthday, internship, and other things but whenever comes the Tolerance Party, he backs off and then tolerates my blabbering for not giving the party I am waiting for years. I am hoping that my writing could finally award me the party that's been holding back this long.
I know I must have been irritated till this point. I must look like I am so desperate and have been ranting about it. So I close this chapter.
Lesson Learnt- Get the party at that time by hook or by crook, otherwise you will end up writing a book.
