"Miss Y/L/N, you're saying that your father gave false information in court?" my dad's lawyer asked me.
I gulped the lump in my throat, "Yes"
"Do you know you're accusing your father for breaking the law?"
"Yes" I whispered
Scarlett's lawyer is on this case, her name is Lauren, she's really sweet actually but looking at her doing her job is terrifying.
"Miss Y/L/N, you claim your father lied in court, yet you weren't here, where did you get this information?" my dad's lawyer asked me
"My sister Riley, she uh, she was here and she told me everything"
"And your sister, do you feel you can trust her? She might have given you false information"
"Objection, irrelevant to the case" my lawyer said
"This information is important, if her sister is not trustworthy then I rest my case"
"You may continue" the judge said
"I'm gonna ask you again, miss Y/L/N, Is it possible your sister gave you false information?"
"No, I trust her"
"And yet, she lied to your perents about your unusuall sexuall identity for years, if she lied about that then, why is this any different?" she asked
Oh great. she's homophobic too?
I hadn't come all this way for nothing, I'm stronger than this. But before I could speak up my lawyer got up.
"Objection! irrelevant question and penetration into private life"
"Accepted, you may speak"
"Your honor I'm presenting you exhibited B, Miss Y/L/N's father claimed that she has been bothering his family and got a restraining Order against her, and then claimed that she's been using his money for illegal purposes.
Miss Y/L/N, when was the last time you were at your parents house?" my lawyer asked me.
"Two and a half years ago"
"Your honor, this is the testimony of miss Y/L/N's bank account, as you can see there have been no illegal purchases in the last two years and not ever"
This had gone on for almost an hour until the judge called for order.
"The court will examine the allegations and reach a decision in the coming days"
Thank god it's over.
...
"Hey" Lauren called me
"You did great in there, I know it's hard but I got this don't worry"
"Thank you, you're the best" I smiled at her
"Send my love to Scarlett"
"Will do"
After saying goodbye I drove back to set. This day has been exhausting but show must go on.
"Y/N!" I heard a little voice calling me
I was so exhausted but when I saw Rose running towards me a smile instantly appeared on my face.
"Rosie bear! Come here!" I crouched down and opened my arms for her
She ran faster, nearly giving me a heart attack when she almost tripped over.
She jumped into my arms and I hugged her as tight as I could.
"Where have you been? I missed you, Auntie Lizzie said you weren't here when I got here" she said with a small pout on her face
"I'm sorry Rosie but there was a thing I had to take care of, how was your day so far?"
