"Thanks Dad, I really appreciate it" I told my father as he was gathering my bags from the car "Your very welcome, hey uh, how Mark doing?" He asks "He's okay I guess" my father looks at me with such suspicion "Cris, what's going on?" He asks "Dad, it's nothing really, just...." I replied "Just what, huh forgot about it, look who showed up" he says. I saw Mark getting out of his truck, he started walking towards us, "Hey Austin" he says "Mhm" my father replies, I look at him, "I really need to talk to you, it's important" Mark says while scratching his head, and my father knew something was wrong "What's so fucking important that you want to talk about with my daughter?" My father says, "Dad, it's alright I'll be fine" I replied "Like I said if he hurt you which he already done he's going be a Deadman alright" my father says "Dad, please just go inside the house please" I replied "Fine I'll be watching you guys" he says "SERIOUSLY DAD" I said. My father walks inside the house . I wonder why Mark want to talk about and why it's important?
Mark's pov
I took a deep breath, I have to tell the truth the full true even though it's going to hurt her way more than it's going to hurt myself, "Well I uh, you know Makenzy, right?" He asks "Mark the fuck kind of question is that, yeah she's my best friend" I said calmly til my father walks in on us "Shut your mouth jackass" my father says "Dad, please" I replied "NO, I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS, I'M SICK AND TIRED OF YOU TREATING MY DAUGHTER LIKE AN ASS, TEPL HER THE TRUTH, YOU LYING CHEATING BASTARD" my father says. I look at Mark, "What is he talking about? MARK WILLIAM CALAWAY ANSWER ME" I yelled he looks at me then at my father, my father barged in the conversation "SCREW THIS, WHAT MARK WAS TRYING TO SAY WAS THAT HE'S BEEN GOING AROUND SLEEPING WITH THAT MARRIAGE CONSOLER WHATEVER HER NAME IS FIR A DECADE AND NOW HE'S GOT HER KNOCKED UP, DID YOU, ASSHOLE" my father yelled "AUSTIN, YOU STAY OUT OF THIS, THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU" Mark yelled "LIKE HELL IT DOES" my father says I look at Mark "IS THIS TRUE YOU BEEN SEEING HER BEHIND MY BACK SLEEPING WITH HER FOR A YEAR, BUT YET YOU DON'T COME HOME TO YOUR DAUGHTER THAT YOU HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF, NOW I SEE WHY YOU BEEN ACTING LIKE THIS LATELY GETTING PISSED AT ME FIR WHAT, NO REASON, YOU KNOW WHAT YOU CAN HAVE HER AND YOU'LL NEVER SEE MY DAUGHTER AGAIN" I yelled I've slapped him, he grabbed his face "DON'T YOU EVER CALL ME AGAIN AND THIS I'M NOT TAKING YOU BACK YOU CAN HAVE HER CAUSE WE'RE THROUGH" I said My father looked at me, Then got in Mark's face "THIS IS JUST A WARNING YOU BASTARD, IF I EVER CATCH YOU CALLING OR TEXTING MY DAUGHTER, BETTER YET DON'T EVEN COME BACK TO SEE HER, SHE DOESN'T WANT ANYTHING TO WITH YOU FOR 3 FUCKING YEARS Y'ALL BEEN TOGETHER AND THIS IS WHAT YOU DO, IF YOU WANT TO SEE MY GRANDDAUGHTER AGAIN YOU GONNA HAVE TO TALK TO CRYSTAL, YOU I WOULD SUGGEST THAT YOU CAN LEAVE AND DON'T EVER COME BACK OR YOUR GOING BE A DEADMAN LITERALLY, YOU UNDERSTAND BASTARD" my father says Mark looks at me, he walks off "Come on, let's get you inside" my father says "How could he once again but this time my own best friend I cried out "Don't worry about him, he's not worth it, sweetie, listen you going to have to get over this some how, and eventually you going to have to move on with your life, my question is what are you going to do? He asks "I don't know what I want to do, for now all I want to do is get Liyah and leave I don't want him calling about her" I said "How bout you and Aliyah come stay with me for a while and when all this pain is over you can move on with your life" he says "Thanks dad, thank you for everything, I love you" I said "I love you too, now you get some rest and I'll go get my granddaughter, okay" he says. Well, that concludes this chapter, I wonder what will Austin will do to Mark,candy what will Crystal do with do with her life will she just be living single as a mother with no one to love but her daughter or will she finally have that chance finding true love?
