Tyson woke up just before sunrise, likely because he was a little bit nervous about the upcoming quest that he, Percy, the goat boy, and Annabeth were about to embark on.

He rolled over and opened his eye to see... Percy sat down in front of the now broken saltwater fountain with a shaken and tired expression on his face as though he'd sat there for hours. "Brother?" Tyson asked cautiously as he got off the bed and sat next to the shaken demigod. "Oh" Percy blinked, looking over at his half-brother. "Hey, Tyson. It's not daybreak yet" he glanced out the window to confirm this. "Why are you up?"

"Stomach butterflies" Tyson replied. "Worried about the quest. Me love the underground, don't mistake that, but it is still dangerous" he elaborated. Percy just nodded in response, turning his gaze back to the broken fountain. "Why are you up?" Tyson asked him with a concerned expression. "And why is the water sprayer destroyed?"

"I uh..." Percy swallowed. Tyson was patient with him like always. He appreciated that. "You remember that Nico kid I told you about?" Tyson nodded. "Son of Hades, right?" he asked, to which Percy gave a nod of confirmation and continued. "Yes, well a few... I wanna say a few hours ago but I wasn't paying attention to the time" He chuckled nervously. "Anyways, tonight- Or I guess last night since it's nearly morning now- There was a glow coming from the fountain and it showed him summoning..." He took a deep breath to keep his nerves in check. "He figured out how to summon the dead, and it was just really worrying"

Tyson nodded. He may not have known all the details of Nico's story, but he knew that he wasn't the fondest of Percy, to put it lightly. If this kid was powerful enough to summon the dead and kill a small army of skeleton guards then it could be really bad news if he tried to come after them.

"Me can protect you from Hades' kid" Tyson assured his brother, wanting to provide some sort of comfort to soothe his nerves. That's what a good brother would do, and Percy had helped him calm down in the past. It was only right that he returned the favor. "Me very strong" he added, causing Percy to give a tired smile with a chuckle to accompany it.

"Thanks, big guy" he said softly, though deep down he knew that Tyson may not match Nico in a fight if it came down to powers. Tyson didn't have any powers outside of being able to breathe underwater so far as he was aware. Nico could really wreck his shit if it came down to it, but Percy shoved that thought away. "I'll try to protect you as well"

Tyson smiled, and Percy couldn't help but return it.
