Friends Triangle

Chapter 9

Chapter 9 –

They all finally made it to the campsite. Endeavor sat by the four teens that had already made it there which was only half an hour difference. Katsuki let Kyoka go ahead whilst he got all the bags from the boot of his car, lugging them behind him as he walked behind Kyoka.

They were given a brief of the training they will take part in this weekend which seemed easy enough but that was only day one. Whereas Sunday was written to be the hardest day for the teens but they didn't complain since it made them stronger.

As the night arrived, Endeavor observed them start a survival routine by setting a fire, setting types of traps that allow their quirks to using so that they would be safe for the night. The girls got creeped out the darker the campsite got since it reminded them so much of camp crystal lake from Friday the 13th and inconvenience, it was exactly that day.

The boys set their tent up and the girls set theirs up perfectly and Endeavour was proud of them since he could tick off the lists for both groups of teens. He said goodnight to the teens as he went to the lodge a mile up from the campsite so they could learn to survive the night alone without adult supervision.

The girls decided to go exploring whilst the guys sorted out and mended the fire since Shoto wasn't allowed to use his quirk as it's classed as cheating so they had to build a fire from scratch.

"how's training with Bakugo?" Ochaco asks but Kyoka just chuckles shrugging. She loved it, she didn't want her training with Katsuki to end.

"Well...it's great, he has made me feel like a stronger person" the girls realized that Kyoka was blushing whilst she spoke about the angry blonde.

"that's good" momo replied as they walked around the campsite. "you know, if you think about it, Bakugo seems a lot happier and at peace ever since he got paired up with you" she added but Jiro started to blush even more.

"ooooh! Do you think he likes you? Maybe he has a little crush because usually, he's a solo learner, and not once have we heard him complain about you" Ochako said.

It made sense that he would have feelings but Kyoka didn't believe he would find her that attractive, they were just friends, even though she finds him attractive, she wouldn't fall in love and lose all loyalty to her boyfriend Denki since she loves him and would never hurt him that way.

"no, I wouldn't say he likes me that way, as a friend maybe" Kyoka chuckled as they decided to walk back to the camp.

Ochako and Momo looked at each other knowing that they plucked a nerve in their friend. It was true, Kyoka didn't know how to feel. Elena Gilbert or Bella Swan made it seem so simple and easy when it came to love triangles but then again she wasn't in a movie, she wasn't in a television show. The directors cut out the whole stress part of choosing who would be better and how it would affect the character.

The trio walked back to the campsite to hear the guys arguing over how to make a fire because neither of them knew what to do...well they knew what to do, it just wasn't working.

"it's not hard," Kyoka said where all the guys looked insulted for her comment which made her laugh. "here, hand them to me" she knelt by the wood and clung the rocks together. She then rummaged through her bag for odd pieces of paper and other burnable things. "now when you have a spark..." she said creating lit sparks that fell upon the twigs and card and paper "you want to keep building up so that the fire doesn't burn out" she explained.

The moment she made a small flame everyone 'oohed' and 'awwed' as they were amazed at how quick Kyoka was at building a fire. She walked around the campsite getting larger sticks and handing them to the guys to break apart and pile up until they created a large bonfire.
