Sung-jin-woo stood up from his bed and walked up to the window.

"No. This place sure is different from the one my liege used to live in. Not only do they lack in mana and prowess. Their technology is also undeveloped and..."

Beru tilted his head in confusion.

"My liege are you asking me to clear your path and wipe out every single person living in this mansio—?"

"No not that! sighs...carry me outside without making a single noise."

Jin-woo walked side by side with beru until they are far enough from the mansion where no one would hear them but just as he was about to summon Kaisel a sudden painful pang in his chest made him stop on his tracks. He was unable to breathe properly and collapsed on his knees.

"MY LIEGE! MY LIEGE!"

Beru called out repeatedly but his voice was not heard by his master clearly.

"Beru...*cough*"

Sung-jin-woo's complexion became pale as he coughed up more and more blood. Beru immediately rested his master on his arms and tried to heal him.

I should've known.

Beru was the only one that I've seen ever since I came here. It would mean that I had become so weak I couldn't even summon multiple shadow soldiers all at once. Beru is the only one that could come out...for now. If I forcefully summon his kins all of them would scatter everywhere and I wouldn't have the ability to fully control them. Despite of the fact that calling them doesn't really cost mana it would be troublesome because this is a new body and it isn't used to this kind of thing at all. Does it only apply to summons or are there other restrictions as well...

Sung-jin-woo got up and dusted off his dress.

I understand now. My power is suppressing itself. If it doesn't do that then this body might explode from the surging amount of mana flowing through her veins as a vessel of my power. I have to train it until it's capable enough to handle my strength otherwise I wouldn't be able to do anything...just like I did when I was still an E-rank.
