I got out of my house and walked within the sidewalk. I jumped around and tripped. I quickly stood up and walked with excitement for my first day of shift. "My first day of shift." I spoke with content. I called a taxi and entered. "To Freddy Fazbear Pizzeria please!" I said. "First day of job, eh?" The driver asked with delight. "Yep." I answered. The taxi drove off to the road. "Most of my passengers are going to the New Freddy Pizzeria." He spoke. I just chuckled and replied with a smile "It's nice to know." I finally arrived at the pizzeria. I got out of the taxi and stared at the Pizzeria. I entered the building and saw kids enjoying their meals and having fun with some animatronics. I also realized there was a birthday party. "Memories." I spoke with delight. "Ah, Y/N. There you are." The Boss greeted. "Welcome to the Pizzeria!" The Boss happily greeted. "Follow me. I'll show you where to start!" He spoke, making me follow him. We walked through a hallway that leads to an office that has no doors. I saw a boy, with a brown, thick hair, looking through the cameras. Actually, he's slightly taller than me, and shy. The boss coughed to have his attention. "Jeremy, meet Y/N. She'll be your co-worker for now." He explained. "Jeremy Fitzgerald, to be sure." He added. "H-hi." Jeremy stuttered. I just ignored him and looked at him insensitively. He looked so shy meeting me. "Okay, so the thing is, you need to watch this place for the safety of children, and everyone of course! So we count on you two!" The Boss explained. "Have fun." He said as he left us. "H-have a s-seat." Jeremy stuttered. I went to my seat and looked at the tablet that has every angle of the cameras. We both sat and glared at each other awkwardly. It was silent at this place. "I-It was nice m-meeting you." He said in a low voice. I just gazed at him when he spoke. "Sorry, I don't speak to boys like that." I bragged him. "Whoa. Y-you didn't even spoke for a second." He complained. "Silence is the best language. This language will work to understand each other better." I bragged and just ignored him. "It's just your first minutes of shift here. Why are you actin' like that?" He asked simultanously as he glared at me. "Duh... I'm just jokin' around. I was just testing you with my Awesome skills of communicating." I bragged again to finish off my moment. "And besides, it's not that offensive?" right?" I asked. He just rolled his eyes disappointedly and stared at the cameras to continue working. "Pfft. More like, "Pathetic" skills of communicating." He mumbled with disappointment. "What?" I glared at him rantingly. "Pathetic! skills of communicating!" He bragged at me. "Hell No!" I boastfully said. We saw a figure of a man in front of us. "What's the problem here?" A man asked, looking at us unsecurely. "N-nothing." I pretended with a fake smile. A man walked near to the table and glared at us. "Mike?" Jeremy said. "What's wrong, Jeremy?" He asked. "Well, this "queen of bragging" is my partner for now." He complained. "S-she's being so m-mean to me." He added. "Well, Excuuse me. I'm just making you laugh cause I'm Awesome." I bragged again, with a smile. Mike looked at me for a few seconds and starting to burst out laughing. "You?! Co-worker?!" He bursted out laughing in front of my face. "You two should kiss!" He shouted at us. "Hell no!" We both shouted simultanously and glared at each other. We both looked at each other's eyes, realizing Jeremy is staring at me differently. "Uh. Jeremy?" I asked and snapped my fingers near his face. "Hey, Jerebear!" Mike waved his hands near his face. "Welp. Here goes nothing." I unsecurely said. I gave him a powerful slap, making Mike gasp in awe and burst out laughing. "What the heck, Y/N?!" He furiously asked. "That's the least I could do." I shrugged and sat in my chair. "O-okay. I-I'm just checking ya two!" Mike spoke as he tried to calm down. "See ya later, Fazfu-" He bumped into a wall and left awkwardly. "Well, that's embarrasing to do." Jeremy spoke as he touched his cheekes from my slap. "Actually, It's fun." I smiled. "Y-yeah." He realized and we both laughed. "That's not funny." He said as he game me a poker face. "I-I'm sorry for slapping you. I-I didn't mean it." I apologized, trying to stop myself from laughing. "Being so harsh, talkative and working with you, doesn't mean that we are friends that fast." He easily explained and ignored me. "S-so you forgive me?" I asked, with a smile. He just didn't spoke and looked at the tablet to focus from working. "O-ok then." I just looked at the side and sighed. A few minutes later, I looked at him, still ignoring me."Jeremy I-" "Silence is the best language that can help understand each other." He repeated the statement that I've said. As I apologize every minute, he is always interrupting me. "Learn your lesson." He simply said. I looked at him worriedly and layed my head on the table. Without noticing, he stared at me worriedly and sighed. A few minutes later, he checked on me and realized that I was already whimpering. He looked at me saddened, hugged me in his shoulders, and pat his hands on my back softly. "I-I forgive you, alright." He also apologized to me for being mean. He wiped the tears off and hugged me again. "I... I just couldn't resist..." He mumbled and we blushed lightly as he hugged me. We heard a shot of a camera and realized that Mike is spying on us. "Uh-oh! Lovebirds alert." He mocked us again. As he said that, I'm trying to hold my tears. Jeremy dragged me in his chest, making me blush redly. "Mike, stop. She's crying! Alright!" He stated. Mike stared at us weirdly, then took another picture, and walked away giggling like a girl. "Everything's gonna be alright. Okay?" He comforted. "O-okay." I said with clumsiness and still blushing. Later on, we already tried to talk to each other in a nice way. "Whoa-whoa. Hold on?" I processed. "So you're shy to strangers and people?" I asked. "Y-Yeah." He stuttered. "Wha... O... okay?" I processed and looked at Jeremy confusingly and backed a little bit. A few hours later, the boss interrupted with a cough. "So how's the first day of shift?" He asked. I looked at Jeremy and he nodded. "Boss..." I said. "It was amazing." I simply replied, making my frown fade with a smile. Jeremy is suprised for what I've said. "It's amazing, cause I learned a lesson from a stranger that helps me realize that being prideful of yourself can be too harsh for everybody who seems to be under your level." I explained. "Friend." Jeremy corrected with a smile. "Good thing you learned your lesson." The boss happily said. "Now, It's 5 pm. You can go now." He explained and left. "It's really great to have you as my co-worker." I wondered as I packed my things. "It's really hopeful to have you as my co-worker." He thought, from his point of view. We walked through the hallway. I looked to the side and saw drawings of kids and animatronics. I bumped into a boy with glasses and an orange hair, with the same age as me. "I'm so sorry! I-" "Oh no, no. I-It's okay." He interrupted. "Fritz!" Jeremy shouted and fist-bumped him. "Y-Y/N, meet Fritz. My old pal." He introduced him to me. "H-hi." Fritz greeted. "Hello." I greeted back. Similarly, I tried to remember him. We both gasped in awe as we remembered. "We met since 1st grade!" We both shouted and hugged each other. "1-1st grade?" Jeremy mumbled. "I haven't seen you since forever?! Where have you been?" I cheerfully asked. "We went to Europe to live there for some years." He explained. "Well, it's good to have you back, Fritzy." I calmly said, dragging Jeremy and making a group hug. We both went out of the Pizzeria and called a taxi. "Goodbye, Y-Y/N." Jeremy shyly said. "See ya tomorrow!" I said as I planted a quick kiss in Jeremy's cheeks. He chuckled and waved goodbye to me. As I entered the taxi, I whispered to myself "Why did I do that?!" Later on, I arrived home, ate dinner and slept early. My parents were in France in order to gain money. I miss them, that's why I lived alone. I wish they were here, with me. I'm not alone anymore, cause Jeremy, Mike and Fritz are with me already. They're my friends. "Why did I do that to him?! We just met for the first time. I didn't knew it could be that offensive to him. H-he's a shy one! I-I should be a good person to him, not the queen of bragging, what Jeremy said." I thought and slept.
