Koda's nose twitched as he felt something soft poking it. Batting his eyes open, he winced at the bright light from the sun. Why was he sleeping outside? Did he accidently take a nap? Gently pushing himself up into a sitting position, he stared at the leaf on his legs. Wait, poking?
Wiping his head around at the speed of light, he is met face-to-face with the creature from before. Freezing, he takes in the view before him. A small child, maybe around the age of six, is sitting on their legs staring back at him. Their long locs are dirty and matted, you could barely even tell they weren't meant to be brown. Their skin was covered in a light fuzz with what looked to be fur running along their neck and back. Almost instinctively, the shy teenager raised his arm and rested it child's head. Before he could realize what he was doing, the child jumped backwards.
Startled by his own actions, Koda yanked his arm back. "S-so this is your friend?" He hesitantly asks the frog, not taking his eyes off of the child.
"Ribbit! Ribbit, ribbit."
"His wing?" Ignoring the fear in his gut, he looked over the insect's shoulder and at their wings. A long set of wings laid against the other's back, the color resembles tree bark, Koda assumed the reason to be due to camouflage. And just as the frog said, one of his wings was torn. A feeling of guilt grew in his stomach as looked closer, was he really so terrified of a child that he passed out? He could have scared them, or worse! hurt his feelings!
Turning his head around quickly, he tried to spot anything he could use to mend the child's wings. Suddenly, memories of the band aids he left in his jacket began to resurface. "Uh, do you want to follow me to fix your wing?" Koda asked in a hushed tone. He would be lying if he said his throat wasn't beginning to hurt.
The moth child blinked before looking up at the frog on his head. "Can I go Wasabi?" Its small voice asked the frog with all sincerity. If Koda was anyone else he may have laughed at how a child was looking towards a frog for answers. Seeing the frog nod was all the child needed before lifting its arms up. "Sleepy, carry please?"
Koda hesitated for a second before gently scooping the child into his arms. He couldn't just leave them alone, but he was also still trying to cope with the fact that they were part insect. As he walked back to his spot from earlier, he would glance down at the kid in his arms anxiously. What if he tore his wing more? What if he fell? What if- oh they're here.
Placing the child on the floor, he fumbled around with his jacket trying to find the band aids. He wasn't sure if he should be more surprised that the kid followed him or how silent he was, maybe both. Feeling his fingers brush against the package, he quickly pulls it out and clumsily moves to unwrap it. Koda's hands shake as he gently places the band aid across the tear. A small dust of powder got on his finger as he accidently grazed a part of the wing.
"T-there, you can go home now." Koda made a small shooing motion with his hands.
The child tilted his head to the side, almost making the frog fall off. "Home? What's home?" He asked innocently.
Koda froze for the hundredth time, was he homeless? Is that what Wasabi was trying to say earlier? His hands begin to dart in different directions as he spoke. "Where you, uh, live?"
"Oh. Eilir has no home." Shaking his head, the boy placed his hands on the grass in front of him. The grass spun between his fingers as he gently played with it.

'I can't believe I snuck him into my dorm.' Koda stood horrified as Eilir laid tucked away in his jacket. Luckily it was the weekend, meaning most of the students were at home or outside doing something. Leaving Koda to have a midlife crisis all alone. Never in his life did he ever imagine breaking the rules, and now here he was. A child in his possession, that he only just five minutes ago learned the name of.
As he paced around the room, contemplating his entire life. Eilir sat on the floor staring at the rabbit in front of him. The same blank expression as before, but slight curiosity could be seen in his eyes.
Stopping for a second, Koda looked at his now filthy jacket. Ah, that's right. The kid came from the forest, not the cleanest place in the world. Reaching into his pocket, he thought of who was still in the dorms at this hour. Quickly pressing the contact's name, he attached a picture of Eilir and one short message. "help."
--------------------
A loud knock startled the two out of their little staring contest on the ground. Not even bothering for a response, the student barged their way in, bags in hand. "I came as fast as I could! From the picture it looks like he has dreadlocks, so I brought a satin bonnet for him to sleep in and some of my hair items for him to use! I can go with you to the store sometime to get his own!" Mina spoke quickly as she lifted up various different items. Bewildered, Koda could only nod as she rambled about hair care and the importance of getting Eilir clean.
"Hi! I'm Mina, what's your name?" She squatted down in front of Eilir with a big grin on her face. She continued to stare at him with a warm expression as he ignored her question. Slowly, his hand pointed at her horns.
"Antenna?"
