After Eilir successfully dragged Kota into his room, he forced the boy to sit down on the floor. The black-haired boy could only sit in disbelief as an apple slice was shoved into his face.

Quickly bouncing back from his initial shock, his usual scowl returned. "Go away, I don't want to play with you!" Kota barked out. His hand swatted the apple piece away before jumping up. "You're probably like them anyway! I hate heroes!" His voice bounced off the walls. He could feel his fingers tighten into a fist as he closed his eyes tightly.

Eilir's sight trailed after the apple piece Kota whacked from his grip. Everything seemed to move in slow motion as it fell closer and closer to the ground. His black eyes widened as the precious slice bounced off the floor. Eilir never felt such a intense rush of emotions before this moment. It was almost as if every shred of his human-like mind was released.

Snatching up the apple slice faster than Kota could even see, he shoved it into Kota's mouth with so much force the boy fell over. "Fuck off." Was all Eilir could grit out. If his vocabulary was larger he might have said more colorful terms, but that required too much work.

A fire began to burn at Kota's cheeks as he sat back down on the floor. The apple slice rested lodged between his teeth. He couldn't even think of something to say. No one has ever been so bluntly mean to him before. It was almost a little over due.

But what was this feeling? So sudden and new?

His pulse was rushing.

His face was flushing.

What was this feeling?

Could this be what he was taught about so long ago? The wonderful fleeting emotion? One that you only feel a few times in life?

Yes, it had to be!

There wasn't any other answer!

Love!

Kota had to be in love!

Hearts practically formed in Kota's eyes as he stared up at the mysterious moth in front of him. This had to be his soulmate! Everything from his multi-colored butterfly locs to even the fur that wrapped around his wings was just perfect! How could he not see that before?!

"Marry me."

Eilir's head tilts to the side. "What's marry? Is that a kind of food?" He questions while blinking. That was a weird name for food. Maybe a type of fruit?

"Say yes and I'll feed you whatever you want."

"Yes."

All anger and hostility has finally washed away. And with it, Eilir's resolve to stay awake. Wasabi had already gone to sleep before Kota arrived. Seeing how the person with horns didn't grow after eating, Eilir came to the conclusion he was just really short. It wasn't his fault he was never taught what children were.
