I stared at Ronnie and Andy for the longest time before I scrambled off of Ronnie's lap and ran to the bathroom. Hovering over the porcelean toilet bowl, I emptied my stomach of all its contents, mentally vowing to never drink anything at another party that was fruity again. I turned on the tap and rinsed my mouth out before I opened my mouth wash and rerinsed my mouth out.
"You ok, sweetie?" I looked over my shoulder as I swished mouth wash around my mouth as Andy peeked his head into the bathroom. I quickly spit the stuff out and wiped my mouth on a towel.
"I think so." He took my hand and walked me back to my bedroom.
"Let us tuck you in and then we'll leave. You need to sleep this off." he said as Ronnie pulled my sheets back. I climbed into bed and picked up Lucky, my sky blue teddy bear that I always cuddled to sleep. I picked up my paci, but didn't put it in my mouth. I just held it as Ronnie pulled the covers over me.
"Get some sleep, and I'll stop by after work tomorrow." he kissed my head and walked out of the room.
"I'll see you first thing in the morning." Andy said, taking my paci from my hand and holding it to my lips. I blushed. He wanted me to take it in my mouth from his hand. I opened my mouth and he put my paci between my lips. I closed my mouth around it and felt instantly sleepy. Crazy what a soothing object could do. "Good night, baby girl." He kissed my head and walked out of my room.
I don't remember much else from that night, but I woke up the next morning without a headache, thankfully. I climbed out of bed and put my paci under my pillow, putting Lucky in my spot, and made my bed. I got dressed for the day in a black skirt and a spaghetti strap black shirt with black and pink knee high socks. I brushed out my black hair and did my make up before grabbing my phone and going into the kitchen to fix a pot of coffee.
A knock on the door caught my attention mid way through fixing my coffee, and I walked to the door to find a piece of paper taped to my door with the words "Eviction" written on the paper. Tears filled my eyes as I realized my landlord wanted me out of the house. I was behind on rent thanks to losing my job two months ago, and he hadn't been kidding when he had said if I fall behind even a month he would kick me out. Well, he was kicking me out. After reading the paper, I had to the end of the month to get out.
Sitting at my table, I cried. I didn't even realize that Andy had knocked on the door, or let himself inside until he had taken the notice from my hands and was fussing about it himself. "How can he do this to you?! What a heartless bastard!" He slammed his hand down on the table and made me jump out of my skin. "You're coming live with me and Ronnie, Jenny! We'll take care of you!"
"I can't do that!" I cried in shock as I wiped my eyes. "You two have done enough for me already."
"Nonesense! And if Ronnie were here, he would agree!" Andy wiped my tears and nodded. "Go pack your bag. We'll start moving you in right now." when I didn't move right away like he wanted, he arched his brow and tilted his head ever so slightly, giving me a stern expression. "Now, little girl." I stood up and rushed to my room, curious as to what would have happened had I not moved then and there.
Pulling my suit cases from out of my closet, I begain emptying my dresser drawers of all of their contents and piling them neatly into my suit cases so that I had as much room as possible in them. I had never been to Andy and Ronnie's house, nor had I known that they shared a home, but it kind of made sense what with them being so close. A lot of the girls all speculated that they were secretly a couple. I, on the other hand, knew better. At least, I had always hoped that I did.
With my suit cases packed, I turned to my stuffed animals and frowned. There was no way I was leaving them behind. "Don't worry. We will bring them all too." I turned around to find Andy holding garbage bags. Smiling, I watched as he came into the room, opening a bag, and helped me carefully put my stuffies into the bags neatly. We put my bedding into the bags as well. "That should do for now. Go make sure you have your bathroom necessities and then we'll head out. We'll start packing everything away tomorrow when Ronnie's home."
