Edwards POV
She walked in trying to keep her face steady not showing any sign of emotion. I didn't know what to expect. All I remember was escaping out of the haunted place and running till my feet turned numb. I tried I ask for a break but my voice box wouldn't let me speak. This had stunned me and my body felt a pang of pain every milli-second.
Finally
She stopped.
Ella's POV
I turned steadily while running. I didn't want to trip over while I was dragging him along. That wouldn't be ideal.
I turned to see that he was trying to keep up with me. I could see pain in his eyes.

I know this was the time he would flood me with questions. I was a canoe that could only handle one thing at a time. But the ocean had a mind of its own. If i let him start, he wouldn't give me time to process what we just did.

Edwards POV
Her face dropped in embarrassment and shame. She looked as if she just had been punished by her evil stepmother. And was forced to clean an entire mansion. I wanted to flood her with questions, but with common sense I wanted to keep quiet.
But common sense isn't that common
"Why did we run out of the retched place? Is something wrong with it? What is this Basbee venom? What did I do to end up there? Why are you years older than I am? I thought we were the same..."
"The doctor slash scientist was crazy. Everything was wrong with it. I thinks its something to do with memory. I don't completely know. because...well...thats what i want to talk to you about."

"I don't exactly know what happened to you but all i know is, that you ran off and fell conscious somewhere. 'They' found you and looked through your mind and found that..."

"You stay the same age when you go unconscious."

"look...i don't know how that works but i grew up missing you not knowing what happened to you and..."

"They have the technology to do that. You've missed a lot so i guess you wouldn't understand but all i can say is that they can do anything hey want and won't stop until they get what they want!"
