At the end of all that struggle Endou had managed to acquired the members he needed, and even better, seemed more willing to play the match this time. It all happened when Kazemaru had gone to visit Endou at the steel tower only to see him getting hit by a tyre. 'Special training' as the brunette called it. It was safe to say that Kazemaru was touched and moved by Endou's courage and from that moment decided to join the team.

Right now everyone was on the field, the Raimon team – that earlier had been join by three new members Kageno, Max and Megane – were waiting for the other team to arrive. Akina watched them from a tree that wasn't too far from the field, her lips flat but her eyes, calculating. There was a slight breeze that blew the strands of her chocolate brown locks. Now as intimidating as she was, Akina was very beautiful and people – mostly the boys – have noticed that. Multiple guys stared dreamily yet longingly at her, because they knew they couldn't have her.

Akina didn't really pay attention to them however, her mind was preoccupied by something else. Or better yet, someone one....

"Gouenji Shuuya," said Akina without looking back. She didn't need to anyways. "I gotta admit, when I heard you got transferred here I didn't believe it but now I'm forced to."

It was after she finished her sentence did she turn to meet those onyx eyes that she hasn't seen in a quite a while. The male before was exactly how she remembered him, the only difference was that he grew a bit in height but other than that, still the same. His platinum blonde hair was gelled up and his facial features were as neutral as hers was.

His lips, however, curved up to form a little smirk.
"Airi Akina, we meet again."

"I didn't expect to see you here," Akina spoke as the male approached closer to her. The two had met some time back when Akina was taken out the mental hospital. He knew things about her that she didn't dare tell anyone after she recovered and that was why she trusted him. Because he kept his mouth shut as well.
"What's the catch?"

But she already knew. How could she not? The reason as to why they became friends was because they had one thing in common; they both gave up something they truly loved because the past didn't allow them to be happy. The claws of guilt held them in a tight grip, a grip that shall take a really long time to loosen. Gouenji eyed her, the little curve of his lips disappeared like it was never there in the first place as he turned his gaze to the soccer team other school.

To be more specific, the captain who was talking about something to his teammates. Akina followed his gaze and perked up a bit, her eyebrows raising in slight surprise. She turned back to face the platinum blonde male,
"He's talked to you hasn't he?"

Gouenji scoffed, "I kick a ball to save a little girl from being hit in the face by some asshole and from then on, he's being annoying me to join the club."

"But can you really blame him?" asked Akina as she copied his movements, her hands resting on her thighs.
"You have a really powerful kick."

"What about you?" Akina rolled her eyes when Gouenji subtly ignored her question. She shrugged her shoulders carelessly.
"He hasn't spoken shit to me about joining the team. He doesn't know I used to play soccer and I'd like to keep it that way."

Gouenji glanced at her but decided to say nothing. Akina's emotion were complex and he wasn't going to question her because, well, she wouldn't exactly say anything that would make sense. But if there was one Gouenji was, it was observation and he noticed how her eyes dilated when she gazed at the empty pitch.
'So it seems I'm not the only one struggling," thought Gouenji.
