It was the longest. Day. Ever. In the office with James he keeps asking me random questions like 'what's the going rate of suqid?' Why would I know that! Ugh he's so annoying.
After about 30 minutes Ms. Lancaster comes back. She gives me a nod and I go into the gym to teach the Batmittion team.
•••••••••••••••••
After the Batmittion practice I had English and then a lot of other stuff but now I'm home laying on my bed doing extra homework because I have nothing better to do, but then I get a text from James.
JAMES: hey babe what's up
RILEY: um do not call me babe. And nothing just extra homework.
JAMES: huh well maybe we can hang right now since you are doing EXTRA homework.
RILEY:what, can't wait until Friday?
JAMES: I can but I want to see you.
I kinda smiled at the text.
RILEY: well I guess remember the address I texted you before. Just come there and I guess maybe we can go see a movie.
JAMES: Yes! Ok I'll pick you up in 20.
RILEY: ok thanks.
JAMES: no worries
I go get ready right away. I just throw my hair in a pony tail, I put on black leggings, and a white lace tight top and put a cardigan over it, I also put a pair of dark brown ankle Uggs on. I tell my mom I'm going to see a movie with one of my new friends Rebecca which is a clear cut lie.
I go outside and down the street and turn the corner and down a few houses until I see a doughnut shop And I sit in front of it and one of the picnic tables.
I don't tell James where I live at first because I just don't like people seeing where I live. I never have friends over except for Chloe and Miranda because my mom really wanted to meet them.
I see James show up in a shiny grey pickup truck. And walk over to his car and he looks confused as I get in.
"I never thought you would be a girl to live in a doughnut shop." He chuckles.
"Um no I live down that side street but you didn't have to pull down there because it's easier to stay on the main road, it's a very narrow street so just drop me back off here." I explain. He nods starts the car and drives away.
