Ep 30

Y/n's pov

I hung up the phone and immediately grabbing my bag i rushed out of the house, i ran through the route which lead to the neighbouring colony.

Minutes passed as my feet stopped taking rapid steps, i realised i reached. There I saw Nia standing, she came near me "w-where are they?", I asked Nia pointed towards the croud gathered. I went near it and Nia followed, there I saw the seen which i was expecting but never thought in my dreams to happen. Those 5 people sitting and crying there heart out, yes the two who died were Mike and Jack, members of NS7, a popular group in our university due to their unity and kindness also being the expert at many things, this group won many international awards, all over they were the pride of our university. Not only because of this, also due to their unbreakable friendship, they were well known, their trust on each other made them an example of how true friends are rare but the best.

They were good to me, also helped me with many things. I zoned out thinking all this but the sobs of five of them interrupted. Each and every person of our department were present there, they tried to calm the 5 broken souls sitting there. My heart ached seeing them cry , i was feeling bad because why , their situation have to be like this, right now, right here, just why.

Why the God is doing injustice, they didn't deserve all this suffering.  Even though I didn't had a deep friendship with them, as a human it hurts to them like this, i didn't knew when the warm tear crossed the boundaries of my eyes, two hands wiped them gently which belonged to Nia,

"Y/n idk what is happening to you lately , but rn i suggest you to go back home, you aren't in your right state of mind, okay" she said as I conciously nodded.

I headed back to my home, my slow steps took a quite long time to reach my house but nonetheless i reached, and closed the door. When my legs felt light as i fell onto the floor breaking down. I bursted into tears as all the traumatized things happened striked back, i wasn't able to hold it anymore, i needed to let out all the emotions, it felt heavy everytime consoling myself that everything will be alright but the very next moment unfortunate things happened.

*4 hours later*

Y/n's pov 

I fluttered opened my eyes as i felt like that someone was banging my head, but it felt light that i let all my emotions out, i wasn't feeling sadness anymore.  I slowly stood up , as my energy was drained out , i took the support of the furnitures to walk towards the restroom.

Twisting the door knob of restroom i opened it as i saw my reflection on the mirror, there were dried up stains of tears, i immediately splashed my face with water and washed it. Not soon i took the towel placing it on my face softly, this felt good but my head was still aching, i headed towards the living room making my myself comfortable of the sofa i slept.

hours later

Y/n's pov

I opened my eyes slowly as i lazily stared at the wall, a few minutes of staring won't do anything right. But i felt my stomach growling, which was obvious that  I was hungry, i didn't felt like preparing something with efforts i wanted to eat black been noodles with spicy ramen but none of them are available, but there's a store nearby it is open till  2am , it's not that late though, i can bring some ramen and noodles along with blueberry icecream , they are so good so why not, i can take a walk too.

I stood up as my hair was all messy , i went upstairs at my room to wear sweatshirt and pants , because nowadays it's cold at this time , i fixed my hair not bothering to tie it. I took my purse and left locking the door.

Few minutes more and i will reach the store, probably no one was out at this time after all it's 11:30 pm too late to be usual, i reached as i headed inside the store searching for the things I needed, i was all done but i guess blueberry flavour wasn't available, my luck...darn it. I was cursing in my mind until my eyes fell on the red designed square box of ice cream, strawberry flavour will do.... without thinking twice i took it.

I payed the bill at the reception before heading outside the store, i started walking while a felt a sensation of someone tapping on my shoulder, i looked behind, ofcourse no one was there, my gaze fell on my shoulder as i found a  leaf- strange, ik i was not mistaken the sensation of a leaf hitting is much lighter than that of i felt.

Not soon i heard a  sound of siren , which terrified me but i kept calm , a few seconds passed as many cops caught my attention , this was strange , i was stilll walking but now with a slight fast pace. A cop came towards me running, "it's not safe here, according to the sources a serial killer which comitted crimes that has been occuring is doubted to be in this area, we advice you to pls get back home. It's not safe and take safety precautions atleast for this night" he said in a fast speed as i nodded and he left , i quickly ran as fast as possible, i reached as i took a few seconds to catch on my breath. I unlocked the lock as i went inside, i shut the door with a loud thud. Forgetting all the things I quickly prepared the things I bought.

It didn't took long for it to cook, and my tasty little dinner was ready, i decided to turn on my television to watch some webseries, but my plan changed the second i got to know that the remote wasn't there, i am lazy man. I sat on the dining table placing all the things I prepared, i lifted the chopsticks with my finger, taking a bite of the black bean noodles i hummed in joy.

20 minutes later

I ate so fast , well that's not my fault my hunger took the best of me. I quickly ran to my room , and got onto the warm duet, i felt like i was in heaven what can be better than this, never wanting to jump out of my bed i fell into a deep slumber.

Author's pov

Well this felt heaven to the young girl , but she's unaware of what's coming next , this heaven with too not last longer .
