Ep 22

After 3 days

Y/n's pov

I met dad continuously each day in past days , all I did was to talk to him like after years I met my real dad so how can I not , I guess in just 3 days our bond became unbreakable and also that young man Jang Hanseok was cold to me just like when I met him first and now I am getting ready to hang out with my bestfriend Quilo because it's been days since we hanged out together.

After 15 mins

I brushed my hands against my hair for the last my time and done ,I left the house and saw Quilo waiting for me I went towards him and we both started walking towards the nearby ice cream stall.

Taking steps further and further we reached and took our favourite flavoured ice-creams , I paid for it and we started walking towards the park which was Infront of that Ice-cream stall , while licking the coned shaped ice-cream , we both stepped inside that park.

Unusually there were no kids loitering and playing around while giggling , we both shrugged of our thoughts only to move towards the empty swings; probably while having an intention to sit on it.  We both sat on the specific swing and started talking and discussing about random things. Quilo cracked hilarious jokes inbetween the ongoing conversation, unknowingly making it more funny. Soon time passed and the sun was slowing setting and the orange and reddish colour expanded in the sky making it more exquisite view. About for an hour we both were talking and gossiping and so we decided to go back cause soon it will be dark .

After 20 minutes

I entered the house and also Quilo left . And rn I am sitting on the bed working on my assignments.

3 hours later

I kept the laptop beside and made my way towards the kitchen to prepare a warm coffee for myself as I worked for 3 hours non-stop and my pace for fast too which resulted in making me more tired. I poured the warm coffee in my coffee mug and again moved towards my laptop as my work is not finished yet but will be completed soon. I again started working along with taking sip of the coffee inbetween the work. Soon the coffee was finished and my work was completed too.

And here we go again , I mean according to my habit I took the phone and started scrolling through insta again but soon something popped in my mind which was ,that dad(stepdad) told me that it will take him some days more but he never contacted me after that which is a bit weird. I again kept the phone aside , I feel like I should meet dad(real dad) , but tomorrow again I have to go to university. B...u..t should I take a leave tomorrow , still what will I say to Quilo , umm should I make an excuse that I was sick . I guess this will work. Yes , right.

Next day

Y/n's pov

Rn I am walking with Mr. Jang , after meeting my dad (realdad) , he  asked Mr. Jang to drop me home. Mr. Jang is totally a cold person , gosh I am getting boring....

Y/n: Mr. Jang ?

Hanseok: Say

Y/n: umm what do you do ? Like what do you do for your livelihood
Hanseok: secret

Y/n: from now on won't ask you anything (I said with a bit irritated tone)

We reached near my house , i didn't said anything and got inside the house before slamming the door on His face. 

Today I skipped my university , and spended my time with dad.
I sat on the chair , huffing out of tiredness.

Soon I heard a sound , as I got a call from nia (y/n's classmate) , I picked up my phone while sticking it to my ears.

*On call*

Nia: hello y/n!

Y/n: yeah what's up

Nia: leave this all , listen-

Y/n: go ahead

Nia: tomorrow is Yeonjun's birthday so he announced he invited our whole class to his birthday party; and he was searching for you. I said that you are absent so he asked me to inform you that , you also have to attend his Birthday party. Inshort he invited you.

Y/n: umm I don't feel like going

Nia: comeon yniee , come na , please , for me (she said in a cute voice)

Y/n: okay fine (I said as I thought that it's only a Normal birthday so probably there's no harm in joining it).

Nia: okay so are you coming along with me to shopping, let's select a dress for his party cause probably it's gonna be grand

Y/n: umm I am tired

Nia: no worries I will pick you up. Just text me your location and be ready

Y/n: fine , bye see you soon

She too mumbled a "bye" and I hung up the call.

I don't need to get ready as I didn't changed my clothes.
I got up as heard the sound of the door bell. Probably it's nia , I took my purse along with me and as Nia was there.
I locked the house with my spare keys , and left with Nia.

After 20 minutes

We both entered the huge shop and started searching for the suitable dress for the birthday party. After a few minutes Nia found a enticing dress for herself , she showed me the dress and I nodded agreeing that it's the right dress. She asked whether I was done by choosing clothes , I shook my head; indicating that I am still going through the dresses to choose the right one. She offered to help me and I agreed.

Soon Nia showed me a stunning jumpsuit which was of my size and dark green in colour . On the spot , I agreed to buy that.
After few minutes we left the shop, then we made our way to a different shop to buy birthday gift for Yeonjun.

After 30 minutes

I buyed a watch which will fit Yeonjun's style, it was a bit expensive but alright. Same goes with Nia , she buyed men's bracelet and also was assure that it will suit Yeonjun's style.

We both payed and left the shop.

Nia dropped me home; after that I worked on few hours on my presentation and rn I am laying on my room's comfy bed , cause it's already night and I am too tired , I picked up my phone as I messaged Quilo about Yeonjun's birthday, and whether he is coming cause Yeonjun invited the whole class, not only the class; but also all the students of our department.

*Quilo's reply*

Yes y/n , I am going infact I have to Cause my and his dad are good friends so I will be there. Btw night.

I kept my phone aside before replying Quilo's text with an "ok". And I soon drifted to sleep due to tiredness.
