Hopkins Junior the Third walked down the dark aisles of the street, clutching his arm each step. He swept his hair from his eye, showcasing his nonexistent left eye, which was usually covered by the emo hairstyle he bore. Blood dripped out bit by bit from his cut arm, due to the fight for some daily food he had with some gang. But Hopkins easily beat those losers up.
It was just another tough day.
After the invasion of Wikipi-tan, Inkopolis, the city where he and his only father, Shadow the hedgehog, live in, the city was in ruins. Wikipi-tan and her sisters, Common-tan and Quotes-tan destroyed their buildings and homes and built new ones, as well as forced every citizen to read every single article from Wikipedia. It was gruesome torture, and Shadow became crippled in the aftermath.
The black and red hedgehog was now blind, as reading each article destroyed his puny eyes. They were already withered up, though, as he always cried streams and oceans of salty tears, after the death of Hopkins's late father, Sonic the hedgehog, who died in an explosion.
Hopkins was far too young and little to understand the tradgey of it all, and so he spent his time training gruesome and brutally on his own, ever since he was two months old. He learned boxing and martial arts, and to perform the famous spin dash his dead father had used in battle oh so many times.
Hopkins could not continue walking, though, as somebody stood in his path. He spat on the ground, looking up at whoever was in the way of the edgy twelve-year-old. Snarling, he eyed the person. "What do you want?" the boy asked. The person in his way simply grunted, crossing his arms.
"I'm here to help you, kid."
It was the famous veteranian of the underwater war. The war where sea creatures fought to gain rights to live on land, that happened over fifty years ago. His uncle.
