1 Day before the present time:

Screaming that's all I've been hearing for the last 20 minutes. Dad is upset with Mom because she overspent on groceries again. It's not her fault though, I'm the one who asked for birthday treats even though I knew we were short on money. It's always my fault that Mom overspends, like last time I asked for a bag of candy, Dad did not appreciate that, but then again I should have known he always used the leftover money on beer, not on something like candy for me.

I'm hiding in the closet again, last time I hid here Dad wasn't able to find me. I am scared for my mom of course knowing that she isn't able to hide like me. Dad always knows when Mom is hiding because he gets home in the middle of her cooking dinner. Let's say mom did hide then dinner wouldn't be done before dad got out of the shower. If dinner wasn't done when Dad was out of the shower, that's when he gets really mad. Mom had to go to the hospital the last time that happened.

Dad wasn't always like this though. One of the greatest memories I had with him was only a little less than a year ago. My 13th birthday was coming up and I begged my mom and dad to take me to the zoo. After weeks of trying to convince them to take me, they decided that they would allow me to go as long as I didn't ask to spend money on anything extra like food or a toy. I agreed as fast as I could. At the end of the day though, my dad surprised me with a stuffed cow. I still have Henry as he was the last thing my dad got for me.

After another 30 minutes of screaming, I allow myself to close my eyes and I quickly start to drift asleep. I've always been afraid to go to sleep when Mom and Dad were fighting, but I guess that thinking about all the great things that our family used to do together put me in the mood of wishing to dream more about my life before Dad met someone, or should I say something he loved more than us, Alchohol.

The Day Of:

Staring out the window of the school bus I notice the birds flying up in the sky. I wonder what it would be like to be like those birds, free and with no troubles, except for watching out for airplanes and pesky kids' drones. I continue to think about birds and how easily they can just get away. You know what I, Tommy Danger Innit, officially hate birds.

I notice that the bus has slowed to a stop. I lift myself up from the seat and make my way off the bus. God, I hate the bus, too much noise, and also kids. Well, it's not like I hate kids, let's just say I have a pretty bad experience with the kids at my school. Well, not all the kids, my best friend in the whole world Tubbo is the greatest human to ever exist.

"Tommy, It's been forever since I last saw you!" well speak of the devil.

"Ayy Tubbo, my man, it's only been 3 days since you have seen me you couldn't have missed me that much." I laugh at the idea of someone missing me. Tubbo doesn't seem to notice though because he is already ranting about his weekend.

"Oh God Tommy it was amazing you should have seen the way the bees were able to do their jobs, it was amazing!" I swear Tubbo is a part bee with the way he talks about bees, it's as if they were his family.

"Hey, Tubbo I was wondering-" Before I was even able to finish my sentence The bell rang and we are supposed to make our way to class, as I was walking up the stairs with Tubbs someone stuck their foot out to trip me. Today is going to be a long day.

After School:

"Okay Tubbo, I promise to see you tomorrow!" I say as I get out of his brother's car. It's been like this since the first day of freshman year. I make my way down the street to my house, I never let them drop me off in front, I close my eyes and feel the breeze on my face as well as the asphalt crunch underneath my shoes. I soon hear the sound of sirens. I open my eyes and look around and notice them to be parked in front of my elderly neighbor's house.

"I wonder what happened now," I say to myself, as I walk close I soon begin to notice that the house they were in front of wasn't my neighbor's but mine. I break out into a sprint as I rush to see what has happened. I notice the ambulance and caution tape, as well as a female police officer. She notices me looking at her and her eyes widen. I see her mouth move as she speaks into her walky-talky.

"Hey buddy, do you want to tell me your name," She calmly asks me as she reaches for my shoulder. I flinch away from her and step back.

"Where is my Mom," I think for a split second, "and my dad." The officer looks at me and tells me to stay calm. I can't think about that thought I fall to the ground on my knees and I start to cry. I repeat my question over and over again, I just wanted to see my mom.

"Honey, you will be staying with a nice family for a little bit okay, just until we can figure out what happened. Do you have any living relatives you know of?" I shook my head no with tears still running down my face, and I sniff my snot away. The nice officer tells me she will make a few calls and to just stay put, at that point another officer found a blanket and has given it to me. After about 10 minutes the lady is back.

"Okay sweetie you will be staying with someone name Phil okay?" I look at her blankly

"What about My stuff?

"Sadly we have to leave that here for now, until we can get everything cleaned, and then i promise we will get it to you." I think for a second and hesitantly agree.

"Okay, I promise you we will get everything figured out, lets go." I follow her to the car and get in. We sit in silence before I decide to ask her name.

"Oh my name dear, you can just call me Puffy!" I like puffy she is super nice. After a little bit of silence, I close my eyes and drift off to sleep. When I woke up I notice that we are parked in front of a huge white house with beautiful bushes and big columns.

"Okay Honey, we are here," I follow her out of the car and close the door behind me, I make my way up the grand steps and to the front door. Mrs.Puffy knocks for me and soon and Man opens the door and looks at me and smiles gently, before sticking out his hand.

"Hey kiddo, my name is Phil, what's yours?"

Hey everyone I hope you enjoyed the first chapter of you deserve the world. If you didn't know I decided to name the title after Wilbur Soot's song "Your sister was right" Each chapter will be a lyric in the song, and I thought it was a good idea, so the summary and the title won't match haha.

Also if you see any spelling or grammar errors let me know, after the 3rd read, the words don't even look right.

Love You all and stay safe <3
