Chapter One

Rouge's Invitation

It was a normal day for Mobius. Sonic the hedgehog was with his team having a team field trip for themselves. Silver and Blaze were having picnic at the Green Hill. Amy and Ice were at the gardens looking around. Rouge and Espio at her disco doing business. Lastly, Shadow the hedgehog was just alone in his house watching the morning news.

"Hey buddy! Where are we going next? I can see Knuckles is hungry already." Sonic grinned. "Oh, I was planning to stop at the gas station with some restaurants." Tails said. "Please! A little faster please! I'm starving!" Knuckles complained. Soon they arrived at the gas station and ate lunch.

"Hey guys, did you ever think about having your own family?" Sonic smirked as his friends blushed madly.

"Well, that would be great! I guess." Tails said.

"I agree with you, Tails." Knuckles said. I laughed and drank my coke float.

|Shadow's pov|

It's been days since I didn't ate any animal. I better go to the forest.

I stood from my sofa and went out. The wind was cold and refreshing. I smiled and thought about Maria. I looked at the sky and sighed.

Suddenly, I heard someone or something at the bush. I prepared a chaos spear, if it's a harmful animal. The creature went out from the bush. "Chaos-" I paused. I gasped. It was a red panda! Red pandas are rare, as far as I know. He looked at me and ran to me. He rubbed his cheek against my leg and purred. I smiled and chuckled. I grabbed him and went inside.

This creature is so young... it's just a cub.

I sat on the sofa while the red panda was beside me. "I'll name you Bush. Is that alright?" I asked. Bush nodded and wagged its tail. I smiled.

Soon, my phone rang and vibrated. I groaned and answered my phone. "What is it?!" I growled. "Whoa whoa! Honey! Calm down. I wanna invite you to my disco. Wanna come? I also invited the others." Rouge said. "No." I said. "Come on! There are lots of ice cream, pudding, cookies and Swiss rolls." She said. "Ah... Swiss rolls.. " I smiled while drooling. "Shadow?" She called. "Ah... Wha?! Uh! Fine!" I grunted. She thanked me and disconnected the call. I sighed in defeat and groaned. "Bush, come with me." I commanded and went to my room. He obeyed and laid on my bed. I chuckled and petted his head. He purred and slept. I went to my cabinet and chose a good clothing to wear. I picked a black leather jacket and Bon Jovi T-shirt and a black skinny pants. I wore them all and carried Bush on my arms. He licked my cheek as I ran towards Rouge's disco.
