"The plans for the building's design says theirs supposed to be marble floors in here not granite, so change it" I say to the interior designer who happens to have a stick up her ass like the rest of the designers in here.

I've been working with designers here for the past three days and they still can't have the heart to send a smile back to me when I say hello. The only thing I get is a eye roll or they straight up ignore me.

I know I may be less superior in a way but they can still be nice.

"But that would be terrible. Don't you see I am the exp-." She goes to say but I quickly cut her off. I don't think I can take hearing her explain how she's the expert and that's why she's here; because if I do I'm going to rip my ears off.

"Mr.King, the owner of this building and the one who is paying you." I emphasize "put in his plans that it's supposed to be marble, so please change it, and if you don't want to listen to me I'll be more than happy to get him to tell you himself". I know what I say was a little harsh but it seemed to work.

I see her steel cold expression break for the smallest second showing fear before it goes back to normal. I knew it would work. Personally I don't find him all that scary. He's just a little grumpy.

"Fine"she says sweetly but the look that she's giving me is anything but.

She snatches the binder of plans out of my hand bumping me in the process as she mumbles something about me being a bitch but at least she's finally doing what she's supposed to.

I sigh as I look at my clip board adjusting the construction helmet thats on my head that Grey insisted that I wear. I tried to tell him multiple times that I didn't need it but he kept insisting or more so grabbed me and placed it on my head.

He probably just wants me to wear it so if something does happen I can't sue him.

"Miss Smith"

I stop walking and look around to see who called me. I see Mr.Richard the ones who's head in the construction of the new building makes his way towards me. He's a older man in his late Forties.

I remember hearing Mr.King complain about him all the time but he's actually a really nice man, and also not the reason why the building isn't finished yet.

Saturday morning after the meeting that was scheduled between him and Mr.King. We figured out that it was the interior designer of the inside structure that was holding up the building. They were always changing something without his permission making him look like the bad guy.

So after that and a lot of Mr.King yelling and firing people. The process has been going smoothly.

"Hi Mr.Richard"

"Hello Miss Smith" he says back politely. Sometimes when he speaks I forget how deep and mature his voice sounds. He kinda of sounds like Santa Claus.

"Mr.Kingston needs you in meeting room A"
