Selina walked briskly thought the woods, keeping her eyes only a few feet in front of her. The moonlight shined in patches along the path, leaving Selina nearly clueless as to where she was going.
God, I hate this. I hate everything that has happened in this damn world. Selina thought as she hugged her coat closer to her small frame. It had been almost two months since those men had broke into her house and stole her son, and ever since then, food was the second most important thing.
Lost in her thoughts, she didn't notice a slender woman step onto the path.
"Good evening," called a woman's voice," I hate to pry, but you wouldn't be walking alone, would you? It's awfully dark out here."
Selina looked up in surprise, taking a step back. The lady was tall and very pail. She wore a black dress that went down to her knees, with a corset to go around her waist. The dress was had gold dusted on the sleeves and skirt hem. She was stunning, and Selina couldn't help but stare.
"I-Im," Selina choked out, not sure what to say to the mysterious woman in front of her.
"Come. We'll walk together!" The woman claimed as she took Selina's arm. "I am Layla Povey, I live near here. Not many people come on this trail, especially at night, but I love the mood." Miss Povey continued on, but Selina couldn't care less about what she was saying. She was more focused on not staring at layla in a rude way.
"The nearest inn in about a days walk from here, so why don't you stay at my place, hm? I won't mind, I swear! It's the least I can do," miss Povey turned her head twords the smaller woman. She could use something to eat. Honestly all she is made up of by now is skin and string. But, God, I would love if she stayed for longer than just one night.
Miss Povey flashed a smile to selina. To Selina's horror, she found two fangs at the sides of Kayla's mouth. Of fucking course. This was just her luck. The hot woman who found her in the woods was a vampire, and she might be on her way to deaths door right now.
"Can I ask you something," Selina said a bit louder than she hoped.
"Of course! Ask me anything!"
"Are you going to try and kill me?"
"What? Of course not, darling! I just met you! Do you not trust me?"
"Not really. You are a vampire, you did just pick me up of the side of the road, and it is night time. But I have to warn you, if you plan on killing me, just know that I will put up one hell of a fight."
Miss Povey giggled, pulling Selina closer to her. "Alright dear, I'll hold you to it."
