"Let me talk to my daughter privately Miyeon," Chittip requested. The woman bowed and left to give them their space. "And you Lisa, stay. You can talk to your wife later on." She uttered the word wife distinctively.

Lisa's forehead ceased, what does her mother mean? Then in realization, lightning struck on her.  The older woman had come to believe her lies about marriage. Or so she thought, a conquering smile formed on her mother's lips, disconcerting her. "I told her that she's  an impostor, a fake."

The younger one's jaw clenched, her mother insulted Jennie, though she does not care for the woman's welfare but her plans. Inside her thoughts, she was gruntled, contented that her mother didn't attempt to cross the lines. "Is this because of Miyeon's return? The girl seems determined to have you back. And I remembered you being obsessed with her before."

Lisa wants to leave and drop the conversation but it is her mother she's talking to. "Keyword mother, before." She sarcastically rebutted, the latter's reaction was enlivened for Chittip. She's very much like her father, she got all his mannerisms and way of thinking, except for physic and features because she got it from her mom. Every time the older woman would see her daughter, she sees a replica of her.

Luscious sleek brows, curly eyelashes, plump lips, button nose, and eyes that are hazel brown at light and gray in darkness. Lisa was heaven-sent, but far from being an angel as she grew. "You don't have second thought accepting her again? You'll choose the sham woman over Miyeon?" Lisa gave her the benefit of the doubt. Her mother knew nothing about Miyeon's schemes.

She turned her back and walk down to follow the brunette before she gets far she looked back. "I will rather be with Jennie than her." She didn't wait for a response and sprinted outside where her car is parked. Jennie was already inside, tensed. Lisa entered the vehicle and silence greeted her. There was a dull look on the woman's stolid face.

By now, Lisa knew what her mother had done, but does Jennie expect an apology from any of them? No, and Lisa really didn't. She started the engine and drove off. Jennie who used to be the one to break off the layers of boundaries turned aloof. The radio and the news are what revives the atmosphere.
