"What do you want Fliss?" Grey asked "What do you think your doing with my brother Faye" She screamed grabbing the back of my shirt and pulling me off the chair so i land on the floor on my back "What the hell" Grey shouted grabbing my hand and helping me up "Don't you dare touch me again" I stood up and looked up into her eyes "Or what?" She questioned smirking "You don't want to know" I growled not breaking eye contact with her "Fliss, can you get out" Grey stood up from his chair and pushed her towards the door.
"Are you alright?" Grey said slamming the door on Felicity and walking back over to me. He sits down on his bed and pats next to him telling me to sit down " Yeah, just a bit of carpet burn" I rub my back and sit down "You sure?" He looks into my eyes and smiles warmly "I'm sure" I smile back.
-2 WEEKS LATER-
"Mom, i'm going out to see Grey" I shout "Alright be safe!" she shouts back from the living room. Me and grey were really great friends, he was so sweet and charming and I hadn't stopped thinking about Hunter in a while after i caught him and Felicity in the bathroom together at the party I couldn't move on.
I knocked on the door and Felicity came to the door, She wasn't very happy about me and Grey talking but her and Hunter got back together, I felt a bit bothered about Hunter and Felicity so i'd been avoiding Hunter like the plague. "In his room" Felicity mumbled still staring at her phone, I closed the door behind him and walked in the kitchen to say hello to Grey's mom and dad "Hi Clare, Hi Steve!" I smiled and as I turned around the door rang "I'll get it" I walked towards the door and opened it.
"Hey Faye, what you doing here" Hunter asked walking in, He looked really nice today, he had on black slacks and a navy blue t-shirt that complimented his eyes I knew I still liked him, in fact, I had been admiring him from afar, I loved him. But it was too late now, I listened to Felicity and now he was gone, out of my reach, I missed him so much. I didn't realise I was staring "Woo hoo, you there Faye" Hunter waves his hand in front of my face, breaking me from my thoughts, "Yeah, sorry, i'm here to see Grey" I replied shaking my head to snap myself into it.
"Oh" Hunter says "Well If you want to uh hango-" He gets cut off "Hey baby" Felicity kissed his cheek, I rolled my eyes and headed upstairs to Greys room.
"Heyy" I opened the door and jumped on his bed "Shut up" he scowled and put his headphones on both ears "Woah what's the matter" I questioned brushing his hair with my fingers "booger off Faye, go away" He shouted shrugging his head to the side to gesture me to get out "Oh alright" I was upset at how he shouted at me "Whatever jackass" I scoffed and slammed his door behind me and stormed downstairs.
"I'll be dammed if he sees me round here again the idiot" I walked into the kitchen "I'm going home now" I said to Greys mom, "How come honey is he being annoying again?" She questioned, I liked his mom, she was cool and she understood how spoiled her kids were but didn't know how to sort them out "I apologise for his behaviour" She said hugging me as she could see I was upset. I wrapped my arms around her "It's alright you can't stop him from behaving badly i guess" I replied letting go of her.
I spun on my heels and headed towards the door. Before bumping into Hunter, he looked sad and tired. "What's the matter with you?" He asked "Greys an idiot" I said sliding my vans on "As is Felicity" He said, joining me at the front door "We broke up, she's seeing other dudes" He said "Not surprised" I mumbled so only I could hear " What was that?" He said grabbing his backpack and opening the door letting me leave first "I said, that's sad" He nodded and we both walked down the driveway and when he got to his car i carried on walking since i couldn't drive yet.
"You want a lift?" He said, I spun round and nodded "Yeah i'd appreciate it" I said climbing into the front seat and putting my seatbelt on "So, how've you been" Hunter asked me "I've been alright i guess" I said staring out the window "I've missed you hanging round with me" He says his eyes focused on the road, I turned to look at him, "I've missed you too, I'm sorry i listened to such an idiot and put our friendship on the line" I said still looking at his jawline, he looked tense and stressed "It's okay, you did what you had to do, right?" He smiled and glanced at me.
"Yeah i guess" I felt safe in his presence his aura was calm and gentle, "Do you wanna come over tomorrow?" He asked me "Yeah, I'd like that" I smiled as we pulled up to my house "See you tomorrow" I slammed the door shut and walked up my path unlocking the door and waving as he drove off down the road.
"I'm home!" I shouted, sliding off my shoes and hanging up my handbag on the hangers in the cloakroom "Dinners on the table Faye!" My mom shouted, I walked into the kitchen and sat down at the table with my mom. "Mom, can I ask you a question?" I said, playing with my pasta with my fork. "Of course, what's up?" She said, eating a meatball
"How do you tell someone you love them?" I asked looking down at my lap.
