I was up all last night doing my missing assignments I hadn't done.
I got up and picked out some clothes and sat them on the bed.
Then hurried to the bathroom before my brother got there, I turned on the faucet and reached my hand out to test the water.
"Fuck that shit is hot,"
I turned the water down a bit before hopping in.
I got in the shower and washed up.
I had got lost in my thoughts and didn't realize my brother was banging on the door.
"Niyah get tf out of the bathroom bro, you been in there for almost 30 mins"
My brother Jordan yelled from the other side of the door.
I snapped out of my thoughts and got out because I'm super late for school.
I ran to my room to get dressed rushing because I have a test to do in first period.
I got my clothes on and I didn't have time to do my hair or make up the way I wanted so I just put on lashes and lipgloss. Since I really had no time I just put a claw clip in my hair

I ran down the stairs and ran towards the door while grabbing my keys.
"I love you mom, lock the door,"
I ran out the door not having time to lock it myself.
I got in the car putting on my playlist and drove to school.
The school really wasn't that far but too far to walk though.
I got to school and headed to the front office to get my late pass. I got my pass and went to first period.
I walked into class and everyone lifted their heads to look at me
"Why are you late again Janiyah? You missed your test"
"My bad it's a long story,"
"Well you can write it on paper and give it to me in detention,"
I smacked my lips not wanting to argue and sat next to my bsf Nyema.
"Girrl why are you late again,"
she said laughing
"I was knocked tf out from last night,"
"I told yo ass to do your homework but you don't listen," She said teasing.
"Girls split up right now," "Bri switch spots with Janiyah"
