How!? Part 3

Here's part 3! Sorry for being gone FOR AN ETERNITY I literally forgot I did this cause school was so bleh. I have ideas for future chapters set and writing the part 4 currently so look forward to it!😅

Thick clouds of dust faded as the explosion calmed. Himiko stopped shaking, her body relaxed on top of Kokichi's still body. She put her head off Kokichi and slowly opened her eyes. Her eyesight blurred then brought back. Her eyes widened as she saw the aftermath of the explosion. The portal crumbled to pieces, the wiring twisted and torn, and the blue light no longer illuminated brighter than  a faded light bulb. She looked at herself and realized she wasn't dead.

W-what, IM ALIVE! Himiko thought, touching her face and clothes to confirm she truly wasn't death.

But how?! That explosion would have killed us instantly! We were so close to it! Yeah, me and ko- KOKICHI.

Himiko gasped, she remembered that Kokichi was still unconscious. She turned to him and tried to shake him to wake him up. He didn't wake up. Himiko started panicking, tears threatened to come out as she started to yell his name.

"K-Kokichi, please wake up please! Don't die yet you idiot! W-why, why you try to fix it! Kokichi! P-please... Kokichi..." Himiko stopped, she rested her head on his chest and cried.

She keep crying, hoping a miracle could come and save Kokichi. Mist of her praying, she heard an familiar voice, a small voice of a little girl.

"Uh, is he really dead?" Said the voice

Himiko got up quickly to see the source of the sound. Her eyes widened, seeing that it was none other than Aiko. She and Himiko looked at each other, staring for what felt like hours. Aiko face had a look of confusion, her eyes widened for a second, but closed her eyes and shook her head. Aiko walked closer to Himiko, watching her every step as she became close.

"I meann, I don't know, did you check for a pulse? I saw on TV someone doing that so I thought it might help y'know?" Aiko walked around Himiko and crouched to Kokichi's level. Grabbed his wrist, using her hand to find a pulse.

Himiko sat there, looking at this little girl, wondering how in the world did she get out of the portal in the first place.

"U-um, I-I...h-how?" Himiko stuttered, waved her hands to signify her confusion.

"Hmmm, I don't know! All I knew is that I saw a portal-like-
thing then WHOOOSHH, I teleported here!" Aiko used her hands to demonstrate the 'woosh' effect with a big smile.

It was in that moment, that Himiko began to question all her life decisions up to this point.

Uhhhh, this is so awkward! Like she really appeared! Out of the portal! what do I say!? If I say we're her parents from the past she might get confused, on second thought, maaaybe shouldn't say that...

"Hey, you guys look familiarr, almost like mama and pa-"

"What!? No no no w-we don't, hahaha whywouldyouthinksonowedon't haha..." Himiko cut off Aiko before she finished her sentence.

Aiko squinted her eyes, looking at Kokichi to Himiko to Kokichi then back to Himiko. The stress of the situation made Himiko sweat bullets until Aiko gave up.

"Oh alright! I guess you guys DON'T look like ANYONE I knoow" Aiko's tone indicated differently to what she said.

"Haha yeah..." Himiko replied with a nervous smile.

While Himiko and Aiko talked, Kokichi's body jolted slightly; his eyes squinting before slowly opening them. He saw the ceiling then turned his head towards Himiko talking to a little girl. His vision was hazy, regaining his sight and saw the girl in clear view.
