Chapter 10: Carlos Ending

I know who I'm going to pick..

I get out my phone and call Carlos.

Carlos: "Hey Y/n. What's up?"

Y/n: "Hey Carlos! Can you meet me at the lake? I've made my decision.." my voice trails off at the end.

Carlos: "Yea i'll be there in 10, cya see soon doll"

I hang up and call Camilo.

Camilo: "hey princesa, what's up?"

Y/n: "hey Camilo, can you meet me at the lake? I've made a decision.."

Camilo: "I'll be there asap Hermosa.."

I hang up and wait for Camilo and Carlos.

After a few minutes of pacing back and forth scaredly Carlos arrives, Camilo a few minutes after.

"So who do you pick??" They both ask in unision.

I take a deep breath. "Camilo, I'm so sorry...I appreciate everything you've done for me but I choose Carlos." I walk up to Camilo.

"It's okay! Don't worry, if he makes you happy then I'm happy for you, We'll still be friends though." He hugs me then walks away waving.

I walk over to Carlos who pulls me into a kiss.

I kiss him back and he picks me up and pulls us apart.

He sits down and puts me on his lap.

We stay like that watching the sunset over the river..

I fall asleep on Carlos but he was playing with my hair before I fell asleep.

~Next day back in Y/ns Pov~

I wake up and am cuddled with Carlod. My cheeks heat up.

'I thought it was all just a dream'

I rub my eyes and get up trying not to wake him.

I sneak off the the store and buy a blanket, basket and food.

I come back and he is still asleep.

'I hope this will impress him' I set up the picnic and look over at him who is sleeping peacefully.

'I'll wake him up in 10'

I smile at them and watch the sunrise.

Then I feel a pair of arms slide around my waist.

"Morning Carlos!" I squeal as he picks me up.

"Morning doll" he sets me down by the picnic basket beside him "did you set this up?" Carlos asks and I nod.

"I wanted to do something sweet for my boyfriend.. My Boyfriend." I repeat the last part in a softer tone and blush. I think it was obvious as he kissed my cheek. We get out the food and set it all up.

We all start eating and then after 30 minutes we decide to go to the madrigals.

My momma is always there and who knows why.

But I am too.

"Time for dinner!" A few people yell.

We all walk to the table. Me holding hands with Carlos.

We walk in.

"We have something to tell you all." I Begin

"Me and Y/n are dating." Carlos says

"As long as you all are happy" Pepa and my mom say in unision.

They laugh it off in the end.

"Unacceptable! first you try to tarnish our family name. now you date MY GRANDSONS Y/n L/n..You are not welcome in my home!!" She yells and Carlos squeezes my hand tighter.

"SHE IS NOT LEAVING ABUELA! SHE MAKES US HAPPY AND IF YOUR TO OLD TO GET THIS THROUGH THAT THICK SKULL OF YOURS SHE WAS S**UALLY ****ULTED! THAT WASNT HER FAULT AND YOU MADE IT SEEM LIKE SHE ASKED FOR IT!" Carlos yells.

"AND IF YOURE BANNING HER FROM LA CASITA YOUR BANNING ME TOO! ALL YOU EVER DO IS RUIN PEOPLE! WHEN MIRABEL SAW THE CRACKS AT ANTONIOS GIFT CEREMONY IT WAS YOUR FAULT THEY WERE THERE!" Carlos yells again.

"ALL OF YOU ARE OUT OF CONTROL! ISABELLA WITH HER FLOWERS!
LUISA IS LOOSING HER GIFT! CARLOS DATING AND DISOBEYING AND MIRABEL FOR EVERYTHING!" Abuela yells.

"ABUELA YOURE THE REASON OUR HOME IS BREAKING!" mirabel yells pointing to cracks everywhere.

The Casita starts breaking and mirabel runs after the candle. "Mirabel!!"

I chase after her along with Isabella and Camilo, Carlos chases after me.

Isabella falls but Casita helps her.

"Y/N! MIRABEL! GET DOWN COME ON!!" Carlos yells.

"COME ONE GUYS PLEASE!!" Camilo yells after falling.

Then Carlos falls.

"No.."

Mirabel grabs the candle and I fall by Casita making me fall. Carlos and Camilo run out of the house that's now breaking.

Casita pushes me next to mirabel qnd covers us both as a giant parts falls on us. We aren't hurt tho.

The candle went out..

I hug mirabel who is now sobbing.

Camilo and Carlos run up to me and mirabel.

They help us both up.

Julietta runs up to mirabel and my mom runs up to me "are you both ok?" They ask hugging us. I nod but mirabel is silent.

I go to look at all the damage woth everyone else "what about antonio..? What is he going to do..?" Camilo looks at Antonio who's on the verge of tears.

"My animals.." Felix wraps him in q hug. "Wait..where's mirabel?!" Julietta yells.

We all go and look for her.

~Aftee an hour of searching~

Mirabel, abuela and bruno? Ride back on a horse.

"We need to fix this house.." mirabel says.

"Y/m/n?!" (Your moms name) bruno yells.

"BRUNO!" They run to eachother and hug.

"Uh..mom? Care to explain??" I look at her with my arms crossed.

"Well, when you were younger me and bruno used to date, we were engaged before your dad came back and dragged us across the world for whatever reason. He took you and I refused to be away from you. And that's also when you befriended Camilo, Carlos and Mirabel" she smiles.

"Oh..okaay" then the towns people come and help fix the house.

"Mirabel we made this for you!" Antonio hands her a doorknob and when she puts it in the house doors open themselves "Hola Casita" she waves and the casita makes everyone enter.

Abuea comes up to me. "I'm sorry y/n..I can accept you, Carlos and I'm sorry for everything" she takes my hand and I pull away.

"Well I can't say I forgive you but..I guess I can start trying" I weakly half smile at her.

She nods.

Carlos runs up and hugs me, spinning me.
