Kora pov
I ran for what seemed like 5 minutes, but when I looked down at my watch it had been 2 and a half hours. I better be heading back before Charlie starts to worry.
I looked around, it had gotten dark, but I could still see. I have amazing eyes that come in handy at this time. Then I realized that I had no idea where I was going!
I decided to head to the nearest house.
When I looked at it it was a simple one story house with what looked like a garage behind it.
When I knocked it took a minute but then a tall tanned kid that looked about my age answered the door.
He looked startled to see me, but after a moment invited me inside.
"Who are you?" the stranger asked
"I'm Kora, I'm living with Chief Swan and his daughter but I went for a run and got lost. I said a little embarrassed"
He just looked at me
"Well who are you?" I asked after a long pause
"O sorry. He said looking like he just got knocked out of a trance
I'm Jacob Black, welcome to La Push." He said waving his arms in the air.
Just then a man in a wheel chair came in the room. He looked confused so I introduced myself
"Hello I'm Kora, I just moved in with Chief Swan and is daughter."
He looked surprised to hear this but after a moment the silence was interrupted by Jacob.
"So I better be getting you home so you don't worry Charlie." Jacob said
Jacob led me outside to a car and as we got in he asked me how I got here.
"I ran?" I said questioning why he would ask me something like that.
The look on his face was curious.
"Why?" I asked hoping I did not do something wrong
"Well it's just that Charlie and Bella live in the middle of town it's like a 3 hour run from here." He said confused
I looked at him and smiled." Well I did it in only 2." I said with a smirk on my face
I saw the look on his face as I said that and it was priceless.
When we got to the house I looked around and all I could see were flashing lights. I looked at my watch and it had been 4 and a half hours since I said I was going on a run. As soon as I got out of the car Charlie looked at me and I knew I was so grounded.
